( Part I) REASONS WHY HE HAS BEEN TRENDING ON ANAMBRA SOCIAL MEDIA SPACE SINCE THE DECLARATION OF NOV 6TH AS ELECTION DATE FOR THE STATE

Anambra youths know the contenders and all their antecedents.(Including the ones that gets seen only during elections cycles ). That is why, the most popular mantra in the state since late last year, as we anxiously await a change of guard at Agu Awka has been #GosimKamfunanya.

They know that (now) Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as a billionaire at age 38 who owns and flies a private Jet, could have chosen to enjoy his life just like Dangote and co who are his peers, are doing now. But he has a weakness .....a compassionate heart that just cannot stop helping people . They know that for several years he was funding the political ambitions of politicians who he only demands that they help their people in return, by providing basic amenities and jobs .

They know that he is the only man today in the entire South East that has the singular bragging right of having a hand in assisting into office ,atleast 60% of past political office holders in the state and beyond

Not satisfied with the output by these office holders, he made the decision to come in and use the instruments of Government to change lives on a massive scale ( as he is today exhibiting in the Senate), he dared to venture into the murky waters of politics in 2013 so as to show the conventional politicians how it is done and to better your lives and mine .

That was the crime he committed, and why they sent AMCON against him

They didn't succeed in intimidating him out of the Guber race that year as to their surprise and chagrin, he took the unexpected option of allowing AMCON manage his company for an agreed number of years rather than stepping down from the race and having his company in peace as was given to him as a condition for settlement.

Today he has his company back in his hand, but at much personal damage and losses incurred.

Today he is in court asking AMCON to come and pay for mishandling his huge behemoth of a company which is arguably the largest tankfarm in the entire country and across the west African coast.

That he has since remained undeterred, unfazed and still determined to fight for his people is the greatest testament to the strenght of will, the young man possesses .

That is why hundreds of thousands of our youths today have turned volunteers for they know that an Ubah as Governor, is the surest solution to all the problems we face today as a state.

The Youths remember the days of TAN and presidential campaigns for Jonathan.

They also know that he was about the only PDP major player then that remained unharrassed by the APC Government on corruption allegations till today. When President Buhari came to power and after the security agencies thoroughly investigated him and discovered that like the proverbial Ceaser he lived above board.

The Youths knew that he funded most activities of TAN then with personal money based on the belief that the youthful friendly President Jonathan,will empower more youths when he comes for second term in office ?

That is why he was naturally the only politician that dared to venture outside and lay himself at the mercy of the youths during the ENDSARS protests and they all massively protected rather than attack him.

I still skip a heart beat when I recall scenes of where he was retrieving arms already looted by angry matchet welding IPOB youths and returning them back to the stations as well as where he was putting out fires already set to a police station in ichi on his arrival even to the extent of galvanizing the same youths that set the fires in anger into helping in dousing them.

Now imagine scenes where an Ubah with his huge stature clad in white all covered in brown dust and black soot packing sands with shovel and throwing at billowing fires .

The Youths know that no other public office holder was able to muster such courage, while the entire fracas lasted, rather they sent out press releases calling for peace from the comfort of their hiding places as many deserted their houses for fear of being invaded by angry youths on hidden palliative discovery missions.

Now take a trip to your village in Anambra and find out whose structure is the only one currently vibrant, canvassing and holding meetings on weekly basis without waiting for funding from their principal......

Today if you are not on ground and may have the impression that his party is little known and still has a lot of catching up to do ,little will you know that the Senator has four active and vibrant structures formed by the youths and the elderly hitting up every ward in every village in Anambra and competing amongst themselves for best performance index.
