I never hear one good thing this amotekun do.
They are beginning to appear like bullies to me

If naira Marley is to be honest with himself...he won't be happy to see his own child emulating him...even slawomir wouldn't want his own child to be a an internet swindler... naira isn't a good role model for kids to follow unless you want to breed baby cultists, rapists, armed robbers, drug addicts and peddlers, miscreants and the likes.

Sensational Reporting. JSS and S'S are now primary school kids? Instead of being in class, they were in the bush. You think they were hunting rabbits? Cultism we are struggling with today in the higher institutions and larger society gained firmed ground because those were supposed to enforce corrections at this critical stage of the children's life failed to perform their duty, parents and teachers alike. From these secondary school groups they graduate to full frats.

Naira Marley is a bad exampLE to our kids. People who sample hooliganism, drug abuse and alcoholism should not be role models.

Amotekun is the southwest's version of the long clamoured community/regional policing. There are bound to be impostors in the system due to our gross erosion of values but generally it's a good idea. The herdsmen issue is just one of the jobs. If these community urchins are not nipped in the bud, they will someday become worse than the herdsmen.
Remember the ONE MILLION BOYS?

It very unbelievable kid leave class went inside the bush to Mimi naira marley,I think their main purpose there is for cult initiation ,nothing much, they are cult boys.there is nothing else that those kids could be doing rather than forming a gang.through investigation should b carry out

This should be left for the Man'o Wars and those secondary school cadets to deal with.

Amotekun should be in the bushes securing the SW and stop all this waste of productive time they are expending on irrelevances.

Imagine those fools were in the bush and the amoten got caught up in cross fire with the herdsmen, is that not tragedy for the parents. Control your wards please

Would they have prefer them to emuLate Tinubu?

This is what the school ought to address by themselves.
Amotekun is like a local police. Which crime did the kid commit? Except maybe playing truancy and smoking. The school can handle the kids now

The school might not know that the children were in the Bush. The mere fact that the children were found in the Bush irrespective of what they were doing or who they were emulating calls for questioning. We need to groom our children. Many of them are getting out of hand. Many of you people condemning amotekun will one day have children and you will understand better.

That was how I saw a boy ( a neigbour son) at an igbo joint. i walked up to him and told him to leave and if I ever see him there again, it will be with a cane. His friends were like e fi si le ko konyin ( I should leave him alone, he does not concern me). I reported the boy to the mum. Unknowing to the mummy and me the boy had gone far. His sanity is not the same again still I left the environment.

Man o war has been in existence since and they can't curb this nonsense.

Those kids were taken from the bush, while class was in progress. This act of staying outside of the classroom didn't start today, when I was in secondary school we call them oluigbo(Lord of the bush), they don't come to class until exam period, when the few that still care for their future come to write the exam.

It's those kids that end up joining cultists, rubbers or join Yahoo boys when they decide to explore the least of their options in the criminal world.

Those kids needs help, many of them come from family that couldn't cater for their needs, hence they feel they don't belong among other kids in the classroom.

Although I don't recommend using iron hand with them, but identifying and trying to correct them is still a way forward.

It's just sad and very bad that adults are validating them, it's very improper, people validating them because they promote their brand are the true child molester

You are not better than him just because you sin differently.

Naira Marley is a secular artist no different from Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Jay-Z etc. They have made it known that their music is about drugs, money & b**ches and they all recognize that their music is not for children.

You may not know it but FYI Naira Marley is doing more for in terms of empowerment (livelihood) than your Nigerian government. Your disgust is misdirected.

Those artistes you've mentioned, go and check their Twitter pages and that of Naira Marley and tell me if there's a difference.

my friend as if u r not nigerian. The main point is those ugly uniform men will charge d parents Money for bailing of their kids

Wayward mofons arresting and scaring mere kids for maybe dancing
Not for dancing but for being in the bush during school hours.
If the charge parents something they should pay because it's their lack of proper training that landed the kids in this situation.

First and foremost, before Naira Marley went into tantrum, why didn't he ask himself: what that fvck were the kids doing in a bush?".

Can't say I blame him though. Sense have always been very far from the likes of him. I mean with the nonsense he churn out as music, look at the negative impact it's having on these kids.

Also those Amotekun officers should calm down. They're dealing with kids for Christ's sake.

Members of the Amotekun group needs orientation to fully understand their responsibility as curbing insecurity in the region of South West.
They should go after the fulanis
They just they use them catch cruise, they'll later be released. Moreover it will teach the kids a lesson. What are they doing in the forest grooving with a leader called naira Marley.

I'm a teacher and a parent. When I was in school I played truancy till I dropped out. My problems were largely lack of guidance and counseling. But I never smoked or joined any thug gang. I was also able to pick up myself and graduated
No one is saying they should not be disciplined
But videoing them being arrested by gun holding Amotekun will tag them a criminal. This was not the reason Amotekun was established. They are losing focus.
From the video, the only crime we know of is that they're having bad influence.
This is what the school is equipped to handle more than any other institution. We have Guidance and Counselling in schools for purposes like this.
And that place is a school compound so they're being driven away.
The only reason I can give for this is that the school is just doing it to strike fear into the kids after many attempt at counseling them. That I support .

The caption is misleading. When you watch the video you'll hear these are secondary sch students not primary sch.

I don't how how bad it got in this case to warrant arresting these ones but cutism has crept into some secondary schools. If you ever served in Sec sch you'll know this. I don't believe it's just cos they were emulating Naira Marley.

Children should not be listening to Naira Marley in the first place cos he's a bad influence even to adults.

Did you pause for once to ask yourself what those kids were doing in the Bush?

This is the era of Covid 19. There's kidnapping, banditry and the likes and you're here spewing this half baked nonsense.

I'm sure if those kids are kidnapped, you'll jump up and blame the government when in fact, those kids use their badly trained self to cause it.

Imagine.

Are these amotekun guys mad? Why would they treat kids like this just because they imitate an artiste? Most of these guys are illiterates and as such, they are prone to do unprecedentedly unimaginable stupid things.
