Most of the comments are grumblings and more grumbling.

Menawhile, for me, this is a good idea hopefully that would reduce the pressure on our roads and make the transport of fuel cheaper

He said "our roads are over burden" I just imagine the set of people that are ruling us.
Roads are not over burdened at all, they have been neglected by the government or in another words you people feel you have stolen enough from roads now you want to tap into rail. A sensible government will first make rail functional, available and safe for her citizens first before thinking of transporting petroleum product via rail. To me this is just misplaced priority.

Approaching his retirement age, Coach Buhari has decided to take with him some key and outstanding First team players like Petroleum Products, down to his home town...

The specialist in failure has always nurtured that evil formation in his head like one Pa. Guardiola we know.

Recently, he deployed his most reliable striker (Herdsmen) to destroy the defense of SW FC thereby causing confusion for him to carryout his plans.

The South should not be fooled, they should hold on to their most prized asset just like the way Barcelona resisted any attempt for their star boy to join his former Manager.

Lol. PMB and petroleum from the south are like bread and butter right from BC - from his being Petroleum Commissioner under OBJ military government to Chairman PTF under Abacha administration, to his becoming President/Petroleum Minister.

The man is like he sleeps and wakes up about petroleum money from the Niger Delta all going to his Arewa.

Only North through Kaduna is linked to the country capital, Abuja.

How come Lagos, PH, Enugu, Maiduguri, Jos, are not connected by rail to Abuja?

How would they transport petroleum products by rail without these major cities linked?

The world is moving on o. I have not heard anything about electric vehicles in Nigeria.
Have light first na.
I use 8 solar panels at 300W each to charge 4 batteries that run my inverter.
It the battery doesn't get fully charged because not every day has sunshine.
So I have to rely on PHCN again to get full charge.
If I had an electric car, it will suck it's own electricity for charging.
Probably, I would go out somewhere and won't be able to get back home.

See, Nigeria isn't ready for electric cars yet.
Western nations have consistent electricity, which can charge up the car well not all this inverter and battery.
Plus they have distribution of charging stations with 24/7 Electricity spread out round the country.

I agree. My point is that there's no plan at all including long term plan. It means the contraption is just drifting.

That will fail simply because rather than designing a heavy gauge rail system - you took all that inflated budget and borrowed money to build a passenger rail system that the poor cannot even afford.. now you want to place tankers and containers on a gauge not designed to carry them.. why do we often allow illiterates into positions of power-- WHYYYYYY?

Or country in Asia that belongs to every Asian.
Or country in America that belongs to every American.

Blacks and backwardness.
