Lupita Nyongo the Kenyan-Mexican actress and The daughter of Kenyan politician Peter Anyang' Nyong'o and Dorothy Ogada Buyu has recently joined the #JoroChallenge which has gone viral on social media sites like Instagram and tiktok with over 500million video views.

She recently tweeted via her official twitter handle:

"Very late to the party, but i brought my juice #Jorochallenge @Wizkidayo"

Nyong'o was born in Mexico City, where her father was teaching, and was raised in Kenya from age one. She attended college in the United States, earning a bachelor's degree in film and theatre studies from Hampshire College.
