Any Attack On Peaceful Protesters On Saturday Will Have A Serious Consequence” – Deji Adeyanji

Three months after the Lekki End SARS crisis, Nigerians are set to embark on another peaceful protest to defend Lagos. As we’re approaching the protest day, Comrade Deji Adeyanju issues a stern warning to the Lagos government and all the new service chiefs.

Recall some months back, Nigerian youths all around the country went on a peaceful protest to end police brutality and fatality in Nigeria. But unfortunately, after many days of protests, the music starts to sound differently as political thugs and hoodlums hijacked the protest and turned it to violent.

To fast forward, the 20th of October, 2020 is a remembrance day for every Nigerian generation, it’s the day when counts of peaceful protesters were killed by Nigerian security agents at Lekki Toll-Gate. Sadly, despite the video proofs plus many eyewitnesses who came out to fight for justice, the Nigerian government still claims the killing isn’t true.

After the crisis, Lekki Toll-Gate was closed down, all activities were stopped.

After series of investigations by the judicial panel set up by the Lagos State government, the panel recently concluded that the Toll-Gate should be opened.

The reopening is what has been causing mixed reactions on the internet as some didn’t support the state government’s decision while some are in support.

In this cause, those who are in support decide to embark on another peaceful campaign to defend the Toll-Gate and to stop the government from opening it.

A Nigerian activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju who reside in Abuja was in support of the protest, he hereby issued a warning message to the new service chiefs and Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He said “The leadership in White House has changed. Somebody should tell Sanwo-Olu and new service Chiefs that any attack on peaceful protesters at Lekki Toll-Gate on Saturday will have serious consequences. Peaceful protest is a Human Right even under military regime”.

Exactly. To think he is encouraging anarchy in Lagos while he dares not lay siege on Aso Rock and the NASS complex in the same Abuja he lives in.

The same Adeyanju who is always frolicking with PDP politicians in Abuja and patronizing runs girls up and down is now the champion activist demanding the peace of Lagos be disrupted rather than advise aggrieved parties to go to court if unhappy at the decision of the judicial panel to hand over the Lekki tollgate to LCC.

Any fool who allows himself to be used by Adeyanju and co, who have been 'settled' massively, should face and accept the consequences of their own actions when such comes.
