BEEZUS KITCHEN

Since we are still in the middle of a pandemic, hosting your valentine’s dinner at home wouldn’t be such a bad idea, and Beezus Kitchen has got you covered. The Valentines Day Picnic special costs 30,000 Naira for one and 45,000 Naira for two.

For starters, you get to choose from either the Tomato Crostini, Chicken Lollipops, and Prawn Skewers. You get to pick two options from the Braised Beef Short Rib, Seafood Linguine, or the Sunday Roast for your main course. An excellent idea for the perfect dinner date this valentine should definitely include delicious food and a gorgeous view of Lagos skyline and Turaka Lagos is offering all of this. This Valentine weekend, Turaka has created a three-course set menu for lovers to choose from.

The “Love Match” package going for only 20,000 Naira/person includes a chicken summer roll with marinated asparagus, for the second course, you’ll be served a stuffed red snapper with Curried Philadelphia Cheese and finally finish off with a Pineapple Carpaccio for dessert.

For only 24,000 Naira/person, you can purchase the “Romantic Liason” package. It starts with Lemon Croaker Fritters, then Pistachio-crusted Chicken Ballotine with Creole Prawn ,ousse for the main dish and a Chocolate Crunch for dinner.

PURPLE BISTRO

Purple Bistro just entered the group chat with a Valentine package that you definitely do not want to miss out on.

Purple Bistro’s “Explosion d’amour” is a four-course exquisite fine dining experience hosted by Chef Derin and Chef Ore. For starters, you would be served the Orange Rosemary Chicken Salad. You can choose from the Potato Texture, Potato Puree, Crispy Potatoes, Seared Cow Tonque, Red Wine Reduction and Roasted Carrot for the first menu entree.

The main course includes Prawn Ravioli, Tomato Sauce, Effirin Pesto and Braised Goat. Finally for dessert, choose from either Chocolate Cake, Guinness Stout Mousse, Chocolate Soil and Salted Caramel.

For the second menu, you’ll be served Toasted Egusi and Smoked Chicken as starters. You can choose from the Potato Texture, Potato Puree, Crispy Potatoes, Seared Cow Tonque, Red Wine Reduction and Roasted Carrot for the entree. The main course includes Spicy Goat Meat Iru Tortellini, Effin Pesto, Seared Fish. HSE Gourmet’s valentine package is very convenient for dine-in and takeout valentine plans. If you choose to spend Valentine day at home with your partner, then HSE’s takeout package if what you need.

The Dine-in package costs 65,000 for a couple, and 32,500 per person is a four-course dinner for two. You get to choose from two meal options for each course. For the starters, you have a pick between Soup or Salad. The next course is Spiced Lamb Chops or Smoked Lobster. The third-course meal is a plate of Pasta or Rice. Finally, end your meal with a pick of dessert from the HSE Fondant or Mille Feuille.

There are two seating times available, 6 PM-8 PM and 8 PM-10 PM.

The takeout box costs 80,000 Naira and includes a four-course dinner, bottle of wine, a box of chocolate and a box of salted caramel brittle.

My favourite thing about this valentine package is its all-inclusiveness. The Yacht Hotel has created 4 different Valentine dinner packages for couples to choose from all, including dinner with a water-front view.

The Valentine Dinner for two package includes a 3-Course Continental valentine dinner for 2 with a view of Cowries Creek for only 49,000 Naira. The Cruise & Dine package comes with a 50-minute boat cruise in the Lagos Lagoon and a 3-Course Continental valentine dinner for 2 with a view of Cowries Creek for only 99,000 Naira.

If you want a total night out, you should opt for the “Stay, Cruise & Dine” package which includes a 3-Course Continental valentine dinner for 2 with a view of Cowries Creek, a 50-minute boat cruise, a hotel room stocked with snacks, soft drinks, wine and chocolate as well as a complimentary breakfast. The price for this package starts from 159,000 Naira (Deluxe Cityview Cabin) and 205,000 Naira. For this package, arrival could be on Friday, February 12th, Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th.
