The popular Nollyhood actor, Yul Edochie has obtained his father's blessings as well as endorsement to contest for the president of Nigeria in 2023, Newsline9ja.com reports.


The event took place today when his father, Chief Pete Edochie took time at his home and prayed for his him as well as giving him fatherly advice that would guide him to succeed in his Political endeavors.


Chief Edochie said, due to his strong Catholic background, he cannot join politics as his interest is not there. But at the same time, he can not stop any of his children from going into politics as the have right to become anything they want so far it's inline with the disciplines he had instilled in them.

In a video clip released on his official social media handle, Yul was seen kneeling while his father prayed for him and asked him to go and succeed.


Recall that, in 2017, Yul Edochie contested for governor under the platform of Democratic People's Congress (DPC), unfortunately, he lost to his strongest opponent, Governor Obiano.
