The youths didn't burn down lagos, the same government you're backing up did. They know the youths are threat to them when they are united and they did everything possible not to see that happens and it's working.

The first protest was going peacefully nationwide, it was gaining more momentum and international bodies attention each day and that was a serious threat to the government you're backing. Realizing they were losing ground cause the youths were becoming more united in one voice and cause, they had to take action to crumble the youths. Guess what? They did, they infiltrated the protest with their election political thugs to instigate violence against a protest that had been peaceful for over a week.
Their game planned worked out perfectly well, the once peaceful protest turned violence and an avenue for national looting, chaos and anarchy.... Their mission accomplished, the youth mission failed.
They got a reason to never allow such a threat to government to ever happen again.

Emotional people like you can't understand how dirty politics or government is.
