Please, help me check if she was correct

She asked:

'How often did your ex had sex with you?'

I think it should be

How often did your ex have sex with you?'

Please, which of the above is correct? Thank you

Her English is more correct, it is all about what happened in the past.

Since u are no longer with ur ex.... it is had.

The lady is correct.it's called sequence of tenses in English.past tense goes with past tense.

the guy is correct. The verb 'did' expresses the tense and finiteness, hence, the following verb will be in bare form.
