Omoslim26: This happened in 1953...nothing has changed. Nigerians are walking mosquitoes. The situation became more serious and became an inter-ethnic crisis on 17 May 1953 when mobs of hooligans from Northern section of Kano, in particular Fagge attempted to break into the Southern and Igbo dominated Sabon Gari area with some success, though their original chants were against the Yorubas, the casualties in the Sabon Gari area were mostly Igbos.[2] Shops in the Sabon Gari market were looted and violent attacks took place. Igbo blood is always the glue the nation sacrifices on the altar of 'One Naijirya' |

GOVERNMENT2: the Yorubas are known to be very slow to anger but don't push them to the wall, the effects are uncontrollable and catastrophic. in national politics or else where you see them deliberately avoiding fracas and that's the spirit of a true "omoluabi" that's the psychological imprints the nature blessed us with. we channel the energy for fighting and all sorts of overtures into something more productive. but history tells alot about these people, now that the context is on war. no tribe in Nigeria if not in Africa has fought more wars than the Yorubas. the stretch of such impacts are extended to neighbouring countries. Togo and benue Repub. can bear witness. what they need is a push signal and the demon is unleashed and you will begin to ask what minute happenstances occurred to warrant this great dissatrous effects. the Fulani herdsmens should tread very softly because when it starts their nibblingly watch and kill at night would fail cos' the Yorubas will bring the fight to their door steps whether dead or alive is the cross end. the summary of these all is no tribe has the Monopoly of violence. you can't kill our people on our own land and expect peace to reign even the Innocents of your tribe will suffer 1 Like |

tyup: Utopian ideology still dey worry you. Wait until you come fact to face with this people and their misconduct. People that will be bragging even in front of a policeman that nothing will happen and truly nothing happens after you involve the police. They have this mentality that they own the country and the exclusive right to violence. Yorubas are not hotheads like we Igbos, this I know of them. For them to react in this manner tells you that they have condoned and tolerated this threat to their existence for too long. Between the Igbos and the Fulani, there is a balance of force between them now the Yorubas are coming in gradually to complete the triumvirate. 1 Like |

iJhoe: Ask him where the Fulani s have successfully concluded a war within Africa.... Are they not the people that led Nigerian troops to their death in Eastern Nigeria before Obasanjo and others yorubas like Adekunle took charge and concluded the war People that goes to war because a marabout said so rather than procure war plans and execute same 1 Like |

Nodogragra4me: I quess that they haven't learnt from history. thid time they would learn it in the hard way. Yorubas has an anatomy for war. Their fiddling and diddling over nothing will consume them. Yorubas and Igbos can independently stay on their own? but can the same be said about the northerners yet, we accommodated you now, you have have the gutsy to attack your host. Yorubas like to pay homage and loyalty to their host because they count it as privilege. They had better learn from history 1 Like |
