The issue was Google monopolizing Android; Android is an open source OS just like Linux, untill Google came. Anyone could make their own Android phone, build there own app libraries and repository, but No! Since Google have control over the OS, they made it hard, and the supposed Open source, useless without them. That's wickedness!

Google owns Android OS they can do whatever they want, at least it's open source unlike apple's IOS which is not

I am having the same issue op, been advertising mine for ages till I decided to call it quit.
I think the reason is because some people don't really know the worth, they believe that the parts are not readily available and too expensive to maintain.
Some still see it as one useless chinko phone sef
Recently my own Google youtube app stopped working, I usually find a way to reactivate it before I can do anything with the phone, anyways that is one of my major fear of selling it, as the person might find a way of returning it back to me with serious fight
