The aftermath of the sharia state declaration by the northern governors in 2001 sparked a spree of killing in the north and a swift retaliation in the East. First time I saw a person butchered in my street. Not a good thing, it left a scar in my psych for a long time as a child. Obasanjo na weakling for allowing those governors declare sharia state just because he wanted a second term.

I don't want to believe that the comments I read above are true reflection of an average Nigerian's mindset. That one Nigeria is impossible is because of greedy politicians we have and bad policies they make.

Open grazing should've been stopped years back!! We wouldn't be having these problems if the politicians were bold and sincere enough to ban open grazing years ago.
