Police can easily trace a robber that stole a car in Lagos and travel to Ogbomoso but can't trace a group of people that kidnapped over 500 girls staying in the same state?

500 girls o not 500 fowls.

I'm equally amazed as you are.

It's surprising because to convey 500 people, one will need at least thirty eighteen seater buses or at least 13 coach buses or at least 3 heavy duty trucks. So, how could this have possibly happened when the security forces weren't on strike that time!

Nigeria is gone.
Northern Nigeria is doomed!
True, what is also funny is that there is no way you can illeterates convey all of these vehicles and get 100% success in the operation

This is why robbers snatch vehicle and keep exchanging it in a simple operation.

So how can people move 38 seater buses, yet no one breaks down, fuel no finish for one, they all move in one successful direction like a convoy.

No police can stop them, nothing

It is obvious that the tiger Gov. Matawalle has been proudly tending and riding is about to consume him for lunch. It is even difficult to say on which side Matawalle is now.

This banditry problem started as a molehill but the governor's fraternal disposition has made it grown into a mountain.

This here is misinformation sir. You should go and check how banditry was when Yari was governor of that state. Even Kadaria Ahmed had to lead a protest against him then.
While matawalle succeeded initially in stemming the tide, he overdid it by playing hero to the question of banditry thinking criminals can be tamed.
But the fault lies not in him wholly but the federal power who has all the security agencies but has deliberately refused to bring their full weight on the bandits.

This is the new trend in Nigeria. Buhari government will negotiate with these criminals, pay them ransom and also offer them amnesty.

Father God please protect these kids and allow them to come back safely.

Don’t be surprised that some of these politicians / government officials are behind these crimes going on in Nigeria. They are the sponsors

Creative solution is now needed.

If the Nothern Governors Forum fancy amnesty programme for bandits, they should stop footdragging and get on with it. Design a proper amnesty program that will disarm, document and contract the current bandits and their leaders as protectors of forests for a generous fee. In return, they will work with state governments to stop formation of more banditry groups.

Time is running out.
The first problem with this is the AG came out during the time of amotekun to claim regional initiatives are unconstitutional. So how does the North as an entity carry out a wholesale amnesty in the nineteen States? Don't forget Katsina offered amnesty previously but later backed out.
The second is when you turn amnesty to forest rangers just like militants were contracted as pipeline security, you simply give them licence to "own" the forests which is what they've wanted. You'll see a natural resistance from other inhabitants which will lead to another banditry. It's just like the so called pipeline security never stopped bunkering

You have a point there but at this stage, using force of arm against these people might lead to mass killings in marketplaces, mosques and farms. Another brand of insurgents will arise in addition to Boko Haram. Already, Nigerian Army is overstretched. Dilemma!

oh, I forgot the cabals are the same people in government using this to hold power and loot the south south.

So how long would we continue appeasing these people.
