cassava is the single most staple food in the south. Its not cultivated in the north.

Down south we plant, cassava, yam, vegetables, maize, and rice. These re the foods that matter not onions, beans Guinea corn and sorghum.

North is actually poor in agriculture when you consider their terribly low demand for their own produce occasioned by poverty. Also the south is not doing very badly because their high demand for their own produce makes their success less visible. The idea that north feeds the country is a scam.

Anambra state made a lot of catching up in rice farming, beans is planted in ebonyi, thr is pineapple in my compound in Anambra, onions grow in the south. Yam grow in the south..

You are very correct.I left the city some years back,came back to my village,started yam and cassava cultivation as well as grass cutter and snail rearing and I have been smiling to the bank ever since

In the east u will get casava, maize, yam(most ppl go for abuja yam coz they believe it rich) the fruit and vegetables are made I South, the amount of plantain in the South will feed the north, Niger and Cameroon together.
