My condolences to the traders.

Why fighting the fire in the market? It is not a fire outbreak, it is just fire roaming around the market
Fire in Northern markets are freedom fighters. They are protesting against government's neglect for them.

A stupid as the above sounds, that's how foolish Northerners are when they support bandits and those killing them.

The free zone market in Yobe state where you will find all tribes thriving. It's well.
The banner of peace of Nigeria is receiving many holes lately. I wonder how long before will keep patching to hold one country.

I agree with you on the HYDRANT idea. But I totally disagree with you that FIRE FIGHTERS normally turn out late to fire scenes.

Firstly distance is one of the factors limitating early turnout. Govt should provide a fire station at every 25 to 30kms in every local government

Secondly the public n private commuters should be educated about giving way for a FIRE ENGINE to enhance timely interventions. Someone's house is burning and while trying to navigate, one insane man will deliberately refuse to give way for the FIRE ENGINE to have a smooth passage

Thirdly mobbing of FIRE Men should be discouraged. A fire occurs in a neighborhood be it mistakenly or deliberately, someone comes to extinguish it and faced with the Nigerian situation of obstacle courses before getting to the scene, getting there they get mobbed. it dampens the morale of the fire fighter
