"while some recollections may vary" ie it's a matter of he said, she said.

That statement was well constructed. Only God knows how many hours experts spent drafting that short statement.

Hehehe...they have professors of semantics who could say yes and no in
a single sentence without contradictions.

It’s not easy to stand up for the truth and find your voice in a white male dominated world. Her dad betrayed her and lied about it. Her sister was trashing her even before the engagement. It’s better not to have any family than the ones that will bring you down.
Apart from the dad, she never really knew the white step siblings which is not surprising.
The step siblings only showed up when they heard that their step sister was engaged to Harry. Attaché by force.

They didn't deny it.

Sadly, the Royal family is bigger than Harry and William's immediate family, the Queen inclusive.

The Queen is Royalty, without her everyone else is just family.

Long may she reign.

Buckingham Palace releases statement on Harry, Meghan interview:

ROYAL COMMUNICATIONS

Tuesday, 9th March, 2021

THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS ISSUED BY BUCKINGHAM PALACE ON BEHALF OF HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN

The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.

Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.

They didn’t grow up together and her sister was always jealous of her for being ambitious. Sometimes you find more comfort in friends than family. Family is good only when they are useful to you. The fact someone is your blood doesn’t mean you owe them anything if they do not wish you well.

Tribalism is worst than racism.

I don't understand why we Nigerians carry the issue of racism for head like gala while within us we are worse off. We complain about Americans being racists, of Europeans being racists and Asians also, but see nothing wrong in us being a tribalist.

Exactly. How can you just wake up one day and decide you want to be family only after she heard that she was involved with a prince grin

The west isnt as racist as China, or the Arab world or even India. The west is the least racist part of the world.

Megan's sister warned about her years ago. No one listened to her. I was just waiting for this to happen. Megan is no saint. She's very manipulative. Her sister is no saint either. I won't advice a man to get involved with a messed up family like that, let alone a prince.
She is the last person I would believe in this matter. She has a habit of recking all her families

But it can be minimized to a great extent.
e.g. Apartheid in SA, and the US before the civil right movements.

They grew apart and had an amicable divorce. It happens. No one is forced to stay in an unhappy marriage. He was offered $1M to ditch dirt on her and he turned it down. If she was so bad there would have been people queuing up . Some people hate a strong woman especially if she’s got black in her. They try to bring her down.

How is she manipulative. We Nigerians have problem o! How can We - blacks that we are - defend such nonsense? No matter what, is an unborn child supposed to be judged on the basis of his race even before he was born and worse still by his own family. You can't justify that shıt no matter how hard you try. The monarchy is disgusting!

Even Nigeria has tons of divorced men and women. People fall in and fall out of love due to differences. I don't know what point he is attempting to make.

Before we cast the first stone on the Royal Family, look back home!
In most of our clans, for one to become a King, even though you are the only male child left in the bloodline you MUST marry a lady from your clan no matter how much you love your other lady friend from another tribe. We are all ok with it because it is our culture and tradition but we want to roast the Royal British family for theirs.
You cant knowingly marry someone of such class and then come out to complain about their tradition but want the royalties that come with them, NO, ITS NOT DONE THAT WAY!

You aren't troubled when a son whose mother isn't from your clan is told he can not become the next King because he married someone from another tribe except he gets a wife from your tribe but you are angry that the Royal Family are concerned about the skin color (if it ever happened) or title to be given to one of theirs.. Allow the Royals to deal with their issues their way..

Thank you brother. We are bloody hypocrites.

The Obi of Onitsha cannot make a Yoruba woman his queen. He must remarry to an Igbo woman or he"ll lose the throne.

The Oba of Bini cannot make a Hausa, the Queen of Edo. He'll have to remarry before he can ascend the throne.

It's unheard of for the Ooni of Ife to make a non-Yoruba the Queen of Ife and by extension, queen of the West.

We don't want these because our culture abhors them but we are blackmailing the English monarch to allow a black descendant of a divorcee and ex-wife of a porn star to sit on the English throne. The said Meghan was in a serious relationship with another man; a chef, when she met Harry and she dumped him for a man she claimed she doesn't know.

The English Crown had their reservations, which is expected of them and to an extent, justifiable.

Extreme tribalism is what is bad. Humans are by nature sectional. We are more comfortable dealing with people we share common traits with. There is nothing bad with that. It's human nature and it's not fueled by hatred.

Tribal Supremacism is bad and it's what is fueled by hatred.

I don't see anything wrong with the English Monarch refusing to open their arms wide to Meghan. She has to work hard to earn it.

Yorubas see Bini as an extension of Yoruba land. So they don't see anything wrong with that. They should enthrone the next Oba with an Igbo woman as Queen. We know it won't happen.

The Nazis also believed that the Jews were a weak, dangerous, and inferior race that did not belong in Germany. That's why I said both are bad. Wars have been fought due to both racism and tribalism. None of them is better.

Benins would never agree that they are Yoruba. I am a Yoruba and also do not believe or see benins as extension of Yorubas. Oranmiyan met people at benin. They are a unique tribe on their own. A powerful one at that.
