Igbo Group In Lagos Urges Tinubu To Run For Presidency by EcoBrick: 8:17am On Mar 11, 2021
The Igbo speaking community in Lagos State has urged the former governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to contest for the presidency in 2023.

The leadership made the request during a visit to the immediate past Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Ayodele Adewale, at his political office in Festac Town, Lagos.

Describing Asiwaju Tinubu as a detribalized Nigerian and a great leader, the group added its voice to that of Adewale and other groups who have been demanding that the political leader contest for the number one position in the country in 2023.

Leader of the delegation, Chief Sunday Udeh commended Tinubu’s leadership example, adding that Igbos in the state are ready to support the former governor’s aspiration and the APC in general.

Udeh urged Adewale to introduce the leadership of the community to Lagos APC chairman, Alhaji Tunde Balogun, and Asiwaju Tinubu.

He also praised Adewale for carrying everyone along in his manner of leadership, irrespective of ethnic or religious affiliation. Responding, Adewale thanked members of the delegation for recognising the high standards set by the late Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande, which was a template he replicated in Amuwo Odofin during his tenure as the council boss.

He revealed that the party chairman is currently focused on ensuring the success of the ongoing party membership registration and revalidation exercise, which has extended the exercise for a few days.

Nevertheless, he assured the group that he would book an appointment with Alhaji Balogun and Asiwaju Tinubu and personally introduce the duo to them.

Adewale encouraged them to mobilise people within their jurisdictions to register and re-validate their membership with the APC. He said the Igbo’s are well-positioned and recognized in the state and, therefore, would always be considered in the scheme of things.

Adewale said during his tenure as chairman of Amuwo Odofin local council, for instance, qualified Igbos were offered the opportunity to serve in different capacities as Councillors, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants.

He added: “Asiwaju also appointed Igbo’s into his cabinet as governor of Lagos State. I thank you for adding your voice to the call that Asiwaju should contest as President of Nigeria in 2023. Asiwaju will make a good President as he will consolidate on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari.”

Tinubu is just another disaster waiting to be unleashed.

Nigerians never learn,it's time to allow tribalism divide them. All this years of no election there have been a bit of peace offline amongst this two tribes.

Wait till 2023 and watch Nigeria become a breeding ground for hatred.

Blinded to the point that no one sees what a true leader should be.

Blinded to the point that every #50 that ends your account is enough to carry cheap soured propanganda about.

In this government,no one cares about your interest. I think it's time you all realise that.

I'm a tiny bit impressed.

Anyway, click here to read this interesting book of mine about how life in politics will always appear.

Let Tinubu be not deceived, there's no way he will be the president, the only way he can be a life president is in Oodua Republic not here in Nigeria.

He should rather used his loot and fight for Oodua republic sovereignty, and forget about Nigeria presidency.

We are watching... 2023 is here already!

By the way pls save us in Ondo from BEDEC
Response to BEDC Letter!
Pls share!

You said you are sorry? Really? This is no longer a sin but an iniquity. Apart from the fact that we don't have steady Electricity, we have blackout for at least a week of every month of the year. You mean a whole city deserve that kind of punishment? In ondo city, we only have one area enjoying steady Electricity "Ayeyemi community," the rest of us suffer from your injustice supply. Of course we'll still have to pay, even government offices including BEDC offices uses Generator to do their daily task. Its an offence! its a crime! You are extorting us. Now everyone is going for expensive solar system including the poor. May God punish you as a company. You mean someone should work a whole year and use the savings to purchase a solar system because you lack honor and integrity? You want us to keep fueling our generator everyday so we can finish all our income? You think 3hrs electricity is enough? You even make sure we are out to work before bringing your useless low current so we can go to work untidy and to come back home to meet our freezer partially cold? You will pay for every of our sweat you swallow! May God punish you once again!

That is why the true igbos are different from the terrorists call Igbos.
True igbos know what they want and go for it,
just that the empty brains Igbos have been brainwashed by the bastard call Kanu Lamidi.
It is this terrorist group ipob that are giving true igbos bad names. Ipob Pigs dem dem.

True igbos. Make una carry go.
Na men una be
.

Bouz:
Una dey mad undecided
You refer to a whole tribe and region as being mad?

And the terrorist group members here will read and ignore your comments all because of hypocrisy and politics. Na wa o.
All Igbos are igbos, but all igbos are not Igbos.
This is true.
God bless true igbos. God punish terrorist Igbos.

jimyjames:
lol well it's good to know that igbos have a say in Lagos grin
Oh sure they do.
Jagaban made it possible.
The first governor in Nigeria to input good and real igbos into Lagos State cabinet, giving the great igbos a sense of belonging, cos they truly deserved it.
