Hello, Follower of Jesus:

Mark 10:45 (ESV) tells us, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Feeling pampered and served can be attractive. However, Jesus reminded his disciples that they were not sent to be served, but to serve others.

Some of Jesus’ disciples misunderstood the priority of service. When brothers James and John asked Jesus for one request, they wanted Him to give them seats of honor. His response was that to be great in the kingdom required their willingness to serve.

Peace.

If you also consider the message included in that context, Jesus Christ commanded that NONE of His followers seat themselves in places of authority or leadership over the others In much the same way as the Gentiles do.

So when Christians speaker of such things as "Good Christians leaders" they are speaking of things that are not of Jesus Christ but of the world since such ideas have no place in the Covenant that Jesus Christ made with us.

These particular verse is strictly for the BORN AGAIN Christians only!
This limited number of people will join Jesus in heaven to RULE the earth, Jesus is telling them the requirements of becoming part of the CHOSEN because Jesus is not the one to select this group but his father (GOD) {Matthew 20:23} but God will not select any who has not been trained by the wonderful counsel sent to organize the group {Isaiah 9:6} that's why Jesus said "none of those who lived before John the baptist will go to heaven" {Matthew 11:11} because those going are corulers with Jesus trained by Jesus whereas all those who lived before Jesus never had the opportunity of learning what Jesus taught his disciples so their own reward will be everlasting life on planet earth but 144,000 {Revelations 7:4, 14:1} Christians will be CHOSEN as BORN AGAIN to join Jesus in his kingdom {Revelations 20:6} to this limited number {Luke 12:32} Jesus said "i am going to prepare a place for you" {John 14:2-4} because they're not used to heaven but as for millions who will inherit the earth {Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Matthew 5:5} they are going to build their own houses to taste after all this is where they've lived and used to! Isaiah 65:21

That's why we are eagerly awaiting and fervently praying for God's Kingdom to come {Matthew 6:10} because those who are going to rule us then will SERVE us not become Lords over us the way it is now! Luke 22:25-27

Imagine if every member of the National Assembly with the President, Governors, Ministers, Commissioners, Local Government Chairmen and Counsilors are trained by Jesus and they are ready to serve us as Jesus said, do you think there will be anything good we will lack?

That's what God's Kingdom can mean for you, no wonder when that thief begged Jesus not to forget him Jesus promised him PARADISE and the man was satisfied even though he's facing excruciating pains he's certain that Jesus will see to it that he (the thief) is resurrected to join us in PARADISE! Luke 23:41-43

Hope to see you there! smiley
