Charmingrascal:Try and get ur facts correctly. These schools are OWNED BY THE GOVERNMENT. The names are just names. It is a PUbLiC school... Learn to do little research before jumping and castigate a whole religion and u claim u have muslims in ir family , highly unlikely. Regardless, one question though is Adolf Hitler a Muslim?. How many muslims do u know to b violent. Cause of what a mare 10% of a population do, u generalise and make rude comments. Because of ur long term hatred of a religion or culture. At least try and hide ur hatred for a people. It is not a good thing and ur proudly flaunting it. Shame on u 1 Like |

Charmingrascal: greatdreamer: That's not all about what is actually happening. What is actually happening is political. Towards the ending of last year and early this year, it was obvious to the governor that majority of people are no longer interested in him nor want him again. They made it obvious to him and he got the message loud and clear that party Stewart and the people are waiting for PDP to come back. This caused a fight that was reported in major news outlets. Then he thought about ( or was negatively advised) what he could do that people will start talking about him positively which will make majority of kwarans deviate from criticizing him.. then he reverted to the old tactics... use religious sentiment to gain people's acceptance. What he doesn't know is people are well aware of what he is doing and the religious communities most especially Muslims are not in support of what he is happening |

Charmingrascal:The primary school I attended in Rivers state. I was forced to close my eyes and sing. I then went to a public secondary school still here in Rivers state and i was intimidated by my own teachers and told to clap my hands till i was in ss1. And i still TOLORATED it. Because even whilst I was young and not a christian I understood simple things lyk religious tolerance. 1 Like |

Even in the United kingdom , where Nigerias version of christianity emanated from. Muslim students are allowed to wear Hijab. Hypocrites that is what majority of people in Nigeria are, nothing less. |

The governor of kwara state is taking sides with the Muslim fateful because he himself is a Muslim, kwara state is a peaceful state before this government come onboard. Why not say Christian student attend Christian school while muslim student attend Muslim school while in the case of public school everybody have equal rights to either wear hijab or not. CASE CLOSE. Is obvious the government Is enjoying this movie 1 Like |

Why are Nigerian Xtians so hyprocrite ? I have worked in Muslim school before, students are free to come without hijab and they got punished for wearing dirty hijab.. If your Hijab is dirty, just keep it and come without hijab and we have xtain teachers too. Secondly, Xtians in white country are tolerating gays but you in Nigeria cant tolerate hijabs.. SMH. Charmingrascal:Just one question and answer sincerely, were the Christian girls in that Okesuna primary school forced to wear Hijab? Because I also attended Christ's School for my secondary school. It is a boarding house and you can imagine how life is for Muslims dere. U won't even be allowed to eat food if u did not write the attendance during the chapel period, so the option of not going to chapel is not even dere, we sing and we were made to cram the hymn book. God save u if u caught praying Muslim prayer at any side of the school. We Muslims in that school were forced to wear pure white to Sunday chapel, pray with ur eyes closed or no food. Muslim schools have their issue but I have never seen a Muslim school that force the Christians 2 go pray in d mosque. All dey are asking for now in a public school is to be allowed to wear Hijab to cover what they term as there modesty and y'all are defending dos ignorant parents and teachers harassing kids and then you will open ur mouths wide open to say Muslim are finding troubles. What insanity. I dare you to just go to any Muslim names govt school and see how Christians dress freely |

jamace: That is absolutely not true. There were wars and fighting and mass enslavement and so on. Bigger tribes fought smaller tribes and enalaved them As an example the Jukun people ran a large empire centuries ago. By conquest . And back then they were not christians or muslims. Edo people and Igala people used to be on terms of mortal defiance once. Almost all of them were pagans then |

Regie2bless:But the school in question is now a public school. It used to be a missionary school but now it is fully owned and control by govt. Govt pay for everything including teachers salary and all. The school only maintain its name because they don't want to erase the history attached to that name. |

Regie2bless:Except in this case it is not a christian school it is a PuBLIC school. I can start a school today as a Christian and call it Mohammed school, it is just a name. It is th government that runs the school for everyone. In saudi today 99% of schools name are arabic... How difficult is this. If UNN today said no Christian should come to their school how would u feel This is how crisis happens. Most wars being fought around the globe today is as a result of Misinformation and conspiracy theories |

Subsidybad21: When wars are fought on traditionally known grounds, it is understood and better. But when you begin to fight over foreign issues which you know nothing about, which has eroded your cultures and beliefs, there is a problem. Same foreign religious carriers enslaved Africa and till date still enslave Africa, politically, economically and socially. African societies have lost brotherly love, honesty and integrity.. Who is a pagan/infidel? There is nobody who is a pagan/infidel. Stop using such words. You see, that is one of the ways in which foreign religions try to brainwash and belittle the African traditional religion...Religion is religion. Religion should be part of the culture of a people, but when you imbibe foreign religions, you lose your culture and identity...... |

I think; to stop the problem, those schools should stop enrollment of the Muslim wards into their respective schools, if they can't abide with the Christian missionary school lay down rules that established them. And I will as well; advise the muslims, to take their own wards to Islamic schools. Period, I think these will rest the case(s), as the case may be. |
