The thought of Kulikuli came to me just right now and I can't remember the last time I cracked that skull and jaw breaking groundnut stone..
.
In those days, Kulikuli and garri was the mainstay of lunch.. Kuli-kuli, an emblem of Poverty food..
I stopped eating it after I left secondary schl. May God save us from poverty food. Do you still crack Kulikuli, or you are now too big for Kulikuli Like me

Though I still eat the peppered one ( made by Hausa girls) once in a while, I stopped eating it far back in primary school when it was still crunchy. The moment it started becoming soft and sticky I stopped eating it.

Omooo I don finally reach house, freshen up, time to watch movie, I brought out my dear kulikuli for me to use to "wangle" my mouth.. It tasted all so different from the one I had in Secondary School, very bland save for the pepper that burned my throat, I wan die.. I spat it out and kept chipping off the remaining 3 hoping, just hoping that they were not all like the 1st.. who was I kidding? They were all the same, e painn me but na there e end.
