we have a lot of BLOCK heads in this govt. If you spend $1.5b for repairs ALONE, how much will you sell it?? Bearing in mind that SHELL SOLD FULL WORKING CAPACITY REEINERY FOR $1.2B. DEFINATION OF FOOLISHNESS -USING BASKET TO FETCH WATER TO FILL THE DESERST. WHEN WILL YOU BE TIED OF LOOTING WHY NOT BUILD NEW REFINERY WITH THAT FUND! ! ! !

Lucky buyer. FG already repaired it with tax payers money. After one year, they will say the refinery is not producing well and then sell it for $100 million
Which lucky buyer! It is going to be bought by the Minister of petroleum himself who also voted money for the repair of his own property.

Where are the activists in this nation
The amount they're employing to repair the refinery is enough to build a new one yet they want to first expend that before selling it at a paltry sum to their cronies.
Nigerians are being taken for a ride, taken for fools by the government

True! cool

This report just showed the rot and wastage these refineries have become on this nation.Hence I asked two staunch defenders of this cursed government to explain how this corruption happened under the leadership of the alleged most holy but sanctimonious anti-corruption czar- President Muhammadu Buhari as minister of petroleum within five years yet our moribund refineries are operating @ a far below full operational capacity.I am yet to get convincing answer.

Though, I know there's corruption in the NNPC, but I expect you to know that the losses can be attributed to PMS under - recovery/ subsidies.

Omo, these people de take us catch cruise.

$1.5b can't comfortably mount a new refinery with up to speed facilities. Who doesn't know renovation cost more.

Then after spending such money patching old cloth with new one then you aution it to your cronies for penny.

Least l forget, where is Ibe Kanchukwu and his APC fake promise.

One of the reason l supported Atiku in 2015 was not because is wasn't a criminal but his plans were analytical and viable. Sell the refinery. Its burden on us and yet APC wants to sink $1.5b to it.

This country isn't working. Na make everybody fight to dip handle for the national treasure.

Atiku is a thief but he is a serious upgrade on Buhari.

He will steal but the economy will not suffer needlessly.

my brother this vagabonds have just come to steal , to kill and to destroy, since they came to power they have not added any value to the country. The annoying thing, which I found difficult is why people are still tolerating or listening to their silly talks.

Is that one a refinery or a useless giant stove? After all PMB signed an executive order for the refineries to stop refining so that Nigeria can rely on his Ancestors in Niger Republic for fuel.
