We all have that strict, stern-looking, disciplinarian parent that we used to be scared of...until we discovered they could also be very emotional, like regular humans.

I found this out about my dad during a football match. Nigeria desperately needed a goal to win the match, and then, from nowhere, a player strikes a powerful shot from a long way off and scores a fantastic goal. My dad sprung up from his special chair, ran across the room, and jumped up, pumping his fist in the air in celebration. LOL.

It took me becoming an adult to understand why he was who he was, but my perception of his person changed from that day on.
