have you said anything about the underage voting in the north?
All those high numbers coming from the north must all be eligible voters.

I hear you!

So the SS and SE should sell their consciences to the devil because under-aged voters were registered in the north?. Must you try to justify one evil with another?

This whole thing you guys call election is nothing but tribal and ethnic power play. I am so disappointed in the backwardness of the Nigerian mentality
Please speak in a language you can understand and stop exposing yourself and your pay master(my Niger Deltan brother). Since the SS/SE/SW(my region) cannot see 12years of failed promises, my prayer has always been for North to come to our rescue.
Re: Presidential Election, 16th April, 2011 by SweetT1: 8:56pm On Apr 16, 2011
This election is very much ethnically motivated. Nigeria has not evolved past ethnicity. If i could vote, i would have voted for Buhari. That's the only one that can get the job done, atleast in the areas of corruption.

In Idah, Kogi State (My Town)
Ede-Adejoh ward, Idah Kogi-east, CPC 19 PDP 68 ANPP 6, Invalid - 213

Invalid won there

lol , very funny.

Really, I fear for this country. What I've seen so far is a vote along religious/ethnic lines!

very sad indeed.

My unit is in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. You need to know that intelligence is knowing what is right but wisdom is knowing is being able to make the right decisions. When I accessed the situation, I knew I could be a statistics if I attempted to bring out a recording device.

Like I said, every single one of them was in on the rigging. Including the police and the observers! The observers made a show of overseeing one of the polling units (There were 4) but they left the others completely alone to do whatever was agreed. I probably would not be writing this or maybe, from an hospital bed if I had attempted a video evidence. My mama still needs me.

My brother, no endanger your dear life for anything o.
I don't think anything will change if you kpai ur life trying to document the massive rigging going on as we speak. I have strong evidence to show that countless rigging started far before the election. Corrupt people sponsored by Oil-kings and Oil-Firms (esp Shell) have succeesfully perfected the plans to STOP the Anti-corruption General from winning. So dont kill urself for nothing.

Instead of the votes to go to 'Hausa/Fulani' they prefer to invalidate it.
I will laugh them to scorn if ,

I am not a politician but this is not healthy for Nigeria. Most people from other ethnic group could not vote in the North because of fear of molestation. May this Nation not tear apart because of 2011 Election. It is no more PDP issue rather tribe. I wonder what will happen in Nigeria in the next 48 hrs. There is much to this than GEJ or Buhari. May God help this country.
U wont blame them, if my family base their, we wud rather travle home than stay their dis election period not to talk of going out to vote against their candidate, life is preciouc.

fact is I dont envy whoever wins this election, cos he will have an uphill task of carrying the whole Nigerians along.

The country is already visibly divided along the North/South line.

You are right. I was only trying to say that two wrongs can't make a right. The poster was trying to justify what is happening in the South because of underaged voters in the North. That doesn't make sense to me. I condemn underage voting and I also condemn blatant rigging as I have been told reliably is going on right now in the South. Anyways, I know we all want a better Nigeria - I hope we, the people end up being the winners in this process.

The electoral act is clear, to be declared as President, the candidate needs to fulfil TWO conditions
1. Win the Popular Votes (i.e. has the majority votes across the nation)
2. Win 25% of votes in 2/3 of the states.

In my Analysis some 3 weeks ago, i made it clear that Jonathan will win because of voting pattern emerging, which suggest a dangerous ETHNIC/RELIGOUS extreme. views. GEJ will get SS, SE and win all Christian votes in the west and NC.

I almost got killed like the ENUGU guy for asking Police to stop monitoring voter's who are thumb-printing.

God dey.

This election has a lot of dangerous undertone.
