The judiciary is supposed to be the last stand, the only point and source of deterrence, but in Nigeria, it's not only the weakest link, but the one and only source of acquittal and ZERO deterrence.

This judiciary is the one and the only reason why Nigeria is a very corrupt country, it's the only reason why corrupt people get out of jail free tickets and walk away to spend and enjoy proceeds of crime against Nigerians.

We spend billions of Naira on EFCC and all our law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute criminal activities and wrongdoers, but the wrongdoers are never scared and afraid of our judiciary because they know the judiciary is corrupt and it's only a matter of greasing this and that elbow and they get to walk away free.

The Nigerian judiciary has in its arsenal countless ridiculous and absurd technicalities to use and dispense off any case, any conviction, or appeal, it's the most destructive arm of government.

With the kind of judiciary we have in Nigeria, corruption is not going anywhere, it's here to stay and the Billions we spend on EFCC and outlaw enforcement is a waste, total money down the drain because it doesn't matter what good or bad investigation and prosecution they come up with, it's guaranteed that connected politicians, corrupt politicians, and connected people are never going to see the four walls of any prison.

When Kalu was convicted and sent to jail, I knew it was just a matter of time before his powerful friends steps in to overturn that conviction and as usual, the courts stepped in, they came u with their usual ridiculous and absurd technicalities to set him free.

The Nigerian judicial is a monetized judiciary, every aspect of our day to day existence in Nigeria is monetized, the police is monetized, the public servant at the passport office is monetized, the customs at the ports and borders are all monetized, everything and every soul in Nigeria are monetized.

The Nigerian judiciary is just another segment of the putrid tapestry of the Nigerian corrupt landscape.

Very sad.

@ N2.1 Billion, this man took and pocketed the largest chunk of that money and walked away free to spend and enjoy that money.

They looted and shared funds for our military men and women.

How many of them are in jail or ever faced justice.? None.

They all walked away to spend and enjoy their loot.

With N2.1 Billion loot, he has more than enough to bribe any judiciary and walk away free.

The so-called 2.1bn was a hoax. They just used it to inflame passion and score cheap points.
While money was shared, it was not up to 2.2bn and Investigations were not properly done to ascertain what laws were really broken.
The incompetence of this govt is second to none

The government investigated and prosecuted the man who pocketed your N2.1 Billion, the prosecutor presented hard facts and records, but our corrupt and bankrupt judiciary as usual played their see no evil, hear no evil game talking and let the crook walk away with your money to spend and enjoy at your expense, but you are here asking me what happened to Buhari fighting corruption?

Is it that you are your kind are permanently deplorable or you just love, rejoice and shout Buhari when criminals loot and walk away with your money as if your money is in Buhari's pocket.

It strikes me how people like you are so far mentally removed, unconcerned, and not even interested when crooks loot your money, your only concern is the usual low mentality worries about silly and pointless rants.

Strikes me how you and your kind shout and complain about Nigeria and how government officials travel abroad for medical treatment because they did not build hospitals for you in Nigeria, but do you have any clue how many wonderful hospitals that N2.1 Billion did not get to build for you because it's in the pocket of one man, one man.

Do you people not scream and yell about our troops not having equipment to fight with? ...but do you have any clue how that N2.1 Billion did not get to equip our men and women on the battled field with good weapons and hardware because weapons money was looted and shared and N2.1 Billion out of that money is in the pocket of one man, on man and he gets to walk away free to spend and enjoy your money because your corrupt judiciary set him free.

...but shameful and embarrassing people like you don't care, you applaud and celebrate criminals, you are not even bothered that your money is gone for good or even show your displeasure at the man for stealing and walking away with your money, your warped and upside down mentality is only concerned about Buhari that actually just prosecuted the man for corruption and not the man who just walked away with your money.

Any society with people like you and your mentality is in big trouble.

Too clueless and mentally lazy to know that you failed WAEC already, the man was investigated and put on trial for corruption, but this mentally lazy miscreant is asking daftt questions about corruption?

The executive via the EFCC prosecuted the man for corruption, and the judiciary let him go so what's Buhari got to do with the decision of the judiciary? Or was the man not put on trial for corruption?

They did not trach your social studies or anything about the 3 arms of government, the executive, the legislature, and the judiciary?

Not even sure people like you are allowed to sit for WAEC because you don't know the basics, they need to send you back to elementary school.

The low and elementary mentality kind of people we see on NL sef.
