As a Lagos boy, seeing sacrifices in junctions is no big deal. From yams to eggs to cash. In fact I've seen where kids will deliberately rush to the junction to eat whatever sacrifice is placed there.

Once I heard someone greet the other..."How far them put ebo for junction", "No ooo. These people don dey mess up". "Na wah o, go check pipeline junction. Ebo must dey there. Them dey leave money there sef".

This made me never really place importance on this fetish practise. Boys dey chop am steady and they are still alive and doing well.

But what I saw today shook me to my marrows.
I was sitting by my window around 4:00 when I saw this man drag a hefty white ram outside. He and someone I guess is his son. The man Brought out one gourd and started chanting incantations On the ram. Lasted for a few minutes with him mentioning some names. Then in a flash he used his knife on the rams neck and it bled to death.

They are cooking the ram as I speak. My friend is there sharing drinks and chowing the ram grin grin grin grin. As in as I'm typing this I'm smiling at him from my balcony.

I am tolerant with every religion. In fact I was with an IFA boy throughout school and we got on well. But Omo this one shock me. The names especially because they were familiar. Let me go and continue observing. If anyone starts barking like a dog at least I'll know the source.

The life of the ram was the sacrifice so the meat automatically became fair game. Enjoy, that is, if this story is true. I'm sure this practice was why stories of people turning into goats from picking money became widespread. Foolish fear tactics. If someone doesn't know what to do with cash then sharp men should use the opportunity.

cheesy NO PICTURES ? ABI WE ARE JUST SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE YOU BECAUSE YOU SAID IT. but you have to know that this is an astrological ritual. we are in aries the RAM season and this is why the RAM was sacrificed. the man is using the powers in the atmosphere to destroy those on top who have lost spiritual power. he is terminating their contract at the top. and as he is sharing the meat amongst everybody that implies that THE LAST WILL BE FIRST AND THE FIRST WILL BE LAST. THE AFFLICTED WILL BE THE STRONG AND THE STRONG WILL BE THE AFFLICTED. its a transfer of power ritual from the elites to the common man

as you see i can formulate all kids of ritual for different situations, even for money. however whether it works for you or not depends on your ORI.

Growing up we had this baba on our street, very learned man. He used to drive a Shagari. This man would wear shirt and tie to Lord knows where, come back in the evening and change into a red or white clothe.

I greet him when he is dressed in corporate wears, never in his uniform.

He had 3 wives and they were all learned too, kids also went to good schools. They were generally good neighbours, but I never touched his numerous ebos, even when they had bundles of Naira notes in them. The notes always disappeared after some hours sha.

This is a very common practice here in the south west.
Sometime last year, similar thing happened in my street. The alhaja that stays opposite my compound was sharing fresh ram meat to everyone around.

I asked the gateman what happen to the ram (the ram had been in her compound for more than 3months), he said he woke up this morning and found the ram dead. alhaja didn't say what she was celebrating, she just dey share meat.

The death of the ram was suspicious and as such every right thinking human being didn't eat out of it . To cut the long story short, 2 weeks later alhaja died. Coincidence?

Na wa oo

In other news
I made this small tool that lets you start a chat with any WhatsApp user without saving their number to your address book.

How it works

Goto the link: https://buildbrothers.com/start-whatsapp/

Type in or paste the phone number of the person you wish to chat with.

Update 30/03/2021
I have added a little feature for group admins. You can now add members to your group without having to save their contact first.

This feature simply provides you with a User Interface to enter the group link and number of the new user you wish to add. Once you hit the start button, WhatsApp will be launched with an invite message pre-filled and the user's profile opened.

The tool still collects Zero private data and I am committed to keeping it that way. Want to buy me suya? we can arrange it. Cheers!!!!

Use case

Maybe you find the phone number of a vendor offering a service here on Nairaland, you can simply copy the number, go to the link and start a chat straight. This will help you go straight to business and you will only have to save the number when you feel it is necessary. Cheers!!!
