Straight to the point.

If it doesn't feel right, it's not right,know this and know peace. Learn to trust your instincts and believe in your feelings.

This year will be almost two years since I met this guy and they've been doubts in me about trusting him,I even told him I had trust issues with him. It was a long distance relationship. I felt one has more work to put since we barely saw each other,so I took that as a challenge and tried to meet up.

Since the end of last year through to this time,I was so thinking of ending things with him because I know,I just know this wasn't love,but I was like "maybe he'd change"," you have to be patient","it's part of the sacrifices"..... And all other excuses we put up for our partners.

But recently I just stayed away for like a month,but then we spoke recently and I told him I was away because I know he had someone else. And I received a shocker. He told me " that's was last year na,the relationship I had with the girl started and ended last year and I didn't want to tell you because of I know how you'd feel,I'm really sorry."

I was shocked but didn't show it. So all those while I would worry,call,text and everything,you were actually with someone else.

At that very moment the respect,trust I had for him just varnished, everything I ever felt for him varnished, like,I was already at the breaking point before sef.

I don't feel that urge to text him anymore unlike before where I'd be so worried if we don't talk in two days. He still has my number and I still have it but it just there, nothing he does pushes me anymore. Trust just totally gone


And I felt bad for myself because I know how badly I tried to make it work. And then I remembered my doubts and how I didn't listen to them.

I was sacrificing for someone who didn't have me in mind at all.

At this point I've decided not to settle ever again. If he's not living up to or atleast putting in that effort that I'd equally put then that's it.

We all deserve better sincerely. Just keep improving and being a better person and along the line,you'd get what you deserve and sometimes even more.

Despite the guy opened up,told you the truth and apologized, you still Went ahead and dropped him...Women forget Dating as in finding a Potential life time partner is easier for men,no pressure whatsoever on us...We don't have a clock ticking.

Told me the truth because the relationship with the other lady didn't work. Would he have told me if it did work?if they were still together?

And no,I didn't dump him. He said the last time that we had a complicated relationship and the things he wants keep changing (whatever that meant) and he didn't exactly knows what he wants.

You already have your Conclusions in Front....You Know if the Relationship is on the Rocks...So I wouldn't really speak on behalf of the Guy here but How about seeing the guy,Looking at him in the Eyes, Smiling,Sitting up Straight, Ask him a few Questions about himself Again,What He really wants and so on...That's how you decide on when to draw the curtains.

We were supposed to see before he went back to school but he cancelled it that he wanted to gets things for school. He doesn't just want this and I don't want to force him because this is how it has always been,me forcing everything.

I guess he still has his panties twisted and can't think straight...From my experience, People pretend to be different than what they really are,then from there it's downhills... It's just better to put that in Perspective when meeting someone...You're a smart and nice girl to have & to hold So I don't know why the guy is messing up...Being able to Reason,Joke and laugh with your partner is one of the most important things any relationship can have...I'm sorry for your loss.
