Would this proposed 'biggest gas plant in Africa' translate to commensurate growth in Maiduguri? I don't think these people did a proper evaluation/feasibility before proposing this ambitious experiment.

NNPC in my own opinion is undergoing too many projects at the same time. Why don't you finish with the rehabilitation of the PH refinery which has been awarded so many times without any results first? Secondly, did they even consider the cost of transporting the gas from the South to the North? That's economically stupid if you'd ask me. And come to think of it, is it not the same Maiduguri that's the home of BH? Is this administration even aware of what's going on in this country?
