Twitter has millions more users in Nigeria but due to partisan politics they would rather open up shop in Ghana...
tiny ghana is better than the whole nigeria ... There is no partisan politics we are in a shit hole ...

Why did obama not Bother to branch nigeria too .. ? The name nigeria only brings bad images .. if we decide to live like this, then we should not complain when we get treated like. This....

Nigerian government seriously needs to wake up on their lackadaisical attitude on governance.
In broad day light, it's safe to say Ghana is currently feasting on Nigeria lunch.
We really need to wake up. Who comes to invest in an insecure country like Nigeria? The investors are not blind and deaf to the happenings here. We have to tell ourselves the truth.

Congrats to Ghana. Twitter Akwaaba!

Snapchat can come open office in Nigeria. We will manage.

So that your Fulani headlessmen should kidnap them?

No foreign company is coming here. Those that have been here are moving out.

Were you concerned when FC decided to open an office in Nigeria?

Did you cry, moan and yell on behalf of Ghana?

Were you concerned when google opened their first developer office space in Africa right here in Lagos Nigeria?

Did you cry, moan and yell on behalf of Ghana?

Why should we be concerned over small Twitter opening common empty office in Ghana especially when at the end of the day, Nigeria is still going to be the sole beneficiary?

You people are not serious, you hate your own country so much that you think countries that are below you are actually above you when in fact they are not.

Sad effects of low self-esteem.

with all these comments, your President still refer you as a lazy youth. The image of every country is seen from how a good leader repositions her country.

Common! Who even need their silly explanation?

Based in Ghana but the target market is Nigeria? That's an insult

A decent organisation, cannot run on generator 24/7...... FG should fix this common issue + create an enabling environment + government policies and watch companies troop in........

We have a cheap salary structure (an attraction to many companies), more profit to shareholders...... But many factors are missing.......

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT SITING TWITTER IN THEIR MAJOR MARKET.

FG needs to block them the way China does theirs

For hundreds of years, the white man successfully made Africans look at each other as everything but brothers and allies. You just took capitalism to another level. "Countries that are below you" what does that even mean?

Twitter open a common office in Nigeria to serve the Nigerian market and in effect boosting our TECH sector and contributing to our massive GDP and IGR base.

...but the common twitter office is just an office, a ghost office because they are hiring 11 people to work from home.. grin grin

Why do you think FB which is almost 100 times larger than little Twitter picked Nigerian instead of Ghana?

Why did Google which is 12 times larger than little Twitter picked Nigeria instead of Ghana?

Our TECH sector in Nigeria generated more global investment so far this year than the whole of Last, more than the whole of Ghana and their Twitter office can dream of.

Obviously, little Twitter doesn't want to compete with their BIG TECH elders in Nigeria so they settled for little Ghana, Ghana can keep small twitter, we have the big players in Nigeria.

You can keep on deceiving yourself. But this is my advise to you Nigerians. Why are some Nigerians attacking Ghana and Ghanaians simply because Twitter is opening an office in Accra?

What kind of stvpid attitude is that? Must everything come to Nigeria? Is it Ghana’s fault that Twitter picked that country in Africa? Why are Nigerians angry?

Were Ghanaians angry when other international firms opened their offices in Nigeria? This attitude is extremely disgusting and not helpful to Nigeria.

Majority of Nigerians are irrational and don't listen to sound logic. Don't mind the full. Ghana doesn't stifle free speech and honest reviews. Nigerians will always politicise information and misinformation the public.

If it were my company, I will choose Ghana over Nigeria despite being Nigerian

Abeg, go and sleep joor, Jack Dorsey. Enough of this unnecessary hullabaloo over this nonsensical issue already. Are South Africans, Kenyans, Egyptians, Tunisians, Algerians, Namibians crying like toy-deprived spoilt brats over you choosing Ghana ahead of them? One can only hope the army of idiotic, brainless, eternally embittered Nigerians wailing like flogged goats over this will move to their new paradise Ghana.
