I've heard people talk about how beautiful love is, while others would cry and curse at their partners endlessly.
But what nobody told me is that when you love, you're wired. Your body and heart begins to go against each other as they begin to disagree on so many occasions but of course, we all know who the winner is in the end.
We go against our principles and call it sacrifice, we fight families and call it compromising.
They become your peace, your home and even your weakness.
I have come to realize that we never know the true meaning of love until the feelings start to hurt.
But this people are your peace, your everything and one day they could turn into your worst nightmare or maybe you could turn into their worst nightmare.
My partner Bridget has grown fond of another, and she plans to elope with him, I had only found out the night I went to her house with flowers in my hands to beg for forgiveness even though I had no idea what I had done wrong, I was scared because I would loose myself without her. you see you must be careful when you make promises to a lover, we promised that our hearts belonged to each other and I meant it when I said it, I hold her heart in my hands because promises are meant to be fulfilled.

I tell people this everytime, love is priceless but relationship is not an easy journey.

Love is never enough you need commitment, discipline, respect to scale through cause there will always be someone better than your partner.

You can't force a person to love you and people love differently. I understand what you're going through but you will heal, it's one of those things we face this is we're the sacrifice comes in.
