Edo is currently in Nigeria.

If Nigeria divides today, and Edo doesn't get to be in the map of the newly formed country, that means Edo would by default still be a Nigerian territory.

So whatever that happens, Edo would still fight for their freedom. You won't just have your country through Biafrans sweats.

The only two groups that have any remote chance of forming a country out of Nigeria are the Biafrans and Oduduwans. They are the only two independence agitations that have the numbers to resist the Arewa North. If Edo state could form a country, Anambra with a larger population, could have formed a country long ago

The population of Delta state is more than 5.5m in the last census, Delta will be around 12m now, if we go use an estimate
