TRASH!!!!!!

IN MARRIAGE THERE IS A DOMINANT GENDER AND A SUBMISSIVE GENDER.

A QUEEN CAN NEVER MAKE A KING BUT A KING CAN MAKE A QUEEN

WOMEN ARE NOT BUILT FOR LEADERSHIP AND ESPECIALLY CAN'T LEAD MEN IN A RELATIONSHIP

It takes a lot of courage for a man to do what Prince Philip Mountbatten-Windsor (now of blessed memory) did. He met the then Princess Elizabeth (now queen) as a normal man from a noble background back then in the 1940s and, as their closeness culminated into a romantic relationship, they both knew that marriage was, most definitely, in the works. Going by the British royal tradition, any man married to a crowned princess from the royal family will never be king; rather, he’d be a consort with the title of Duke. Prince Philip knew all of this, including the fact that his direct first offspring and their own first offspring will ascend the throne yet, he loved Elizabeth regardless and still went ahead to marry her.

Most men would’ve told the queen-in-waiting to relinquish her crown if she indeed wanted to get married but, certainly not Prince Philip. He met her as a young royalty, loved and respected all that she stood for and, he still married her. He didn’t mind that he’d be addressed as a Prince and she, a Queen but, he still stood by her side; serving in the designated capacity assigned to his new royal status. He (obviously) didn’t mind that he’d have to take orders from the queen as she’s the supreme leader of the British monarchy; all that mattered to him was loving his wife.

Now, imagine this scenario happening in an African setting…….. the man won’t definitely want to be answerable to his wife because, he’ll term it as demeaning and disrespectful. African men love to be “IN CONTROL” and not the other way round so, anything short of that is a no-brainer for them. It’s therefore no surprise that even in a corporate setting; whether privately or publicly owned, if a man and his wife were to work in same or different establishments, he either won’t subscribe to submitting to his wife as his boss (in the event that happens) or, he won’t even fancy the idea of his wife earning more money than he does. He’ll automatically translate it to mean his woman wants to override him.

Queen Elizabeth II and her husband are a typical example of what joint efforts in a marriage should look like. It doesn’t matter who’s earning more or who’s superior in authority to the other; what matters is the peaceful coexistence between both parties. If Prince Philip had insisted on being addressed as King Philip Mountbatten-Windsor because he’s the man of the house, it would’ve turned to an entirely different case cos, the British royal family will ensure this fantasy doesn’t see the light of the next day. He loved his position and served dutifully. Marriage is amazing when both partners look beyond their differences and hinge more on their similarities so they can find a common ground to build upon.

You know nothing about what you talking about..

Queen Elizabeth was very submissive - you won’t even know that she’s a Queen!!

Now in Africa settings, can a woman be a queen and still be submissive?

I am actually amazed at how these two people were able to stay married for this long. I really commend them.
You made mention of the fact that if their case was to be in an African setting, the man will bever have accepted it.
Well, it takes a very humble and rare African woman to be loyal, respectful and submissive to a husband that she is better placed than in all fronts. I have not seen an African woman who will do it.

THIS STUPID COMPARISON IS WHAT KEPT AFRICA BACKWARD. WE KEEP DOING EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE TO BE LIKE THEM WHICH IS NOT NATURALLY IN US.WE SHOULD BELIEVE IN OUR OWN CULTURE, BY MODIFYING IT TO A MORE SUITABLE WAY.WE HAVE A HERITAGE AND A WAY OF LIFE.TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT,THE MORE WE JETTISON OUR OWN TO ACQUIRE THEIRS,THERE'LL CONTINUE TO BE ISSUES IN OUR SETTINGS. COME TO POLITICS, INSTEAD OF US TO LOOK INWARD AND ADOPT WHAT NATURALLY WILL WORK FOR US,WE WENT AHEAD TO COPY THEM.NOW LOOK AT US.A LEADERSHIP DISASTER!

If we blacks know the pains and deprivation we have suffered because of the interests of the British royal family we wouldn't be in a hurry to rever them.

Please dont placate us with falsified facts. Prince Philip struggled in his position and many times strayed away from his marriage. Even now, his "companion" will be attending his burial following the queen's approval. The Queen made the greater sacrifice.

Okay, he actually did nothing extraordinary.

A lot of men would gladly marry a Queen, a President or whatever title.... in African setting.

Either with the intent of 'gold digging' or with sole commitment to love.
African men love too.

He was a prince too. With ties to Greek, English, Danish and German Royal family. He wasn't a mere commoner

This post is rubbish. In Islam, a man can never be under a woman no matter what happens. Allah didn't create man that way.

What kind of people are we raising in Nigeria........... Do people realize that different countries have different cultures?
You are here busy praising a foreign culture and rubbing dirt on yours.

Do you think in Saudi Arabia, Japan, Russia, China, etc such a thing will happen?
Please let's be proud of our own culture...if the Brits want to live their life that way, that's their business.....

You are busy hailing a culture whose queen sat down watched other peoples being enslaved, killed and pillaged, for their own personal gain.

Abeg pack well with all the nonsense you wrote.......
