Totally Agree with the part in bold above and it is why I believe we must not shun the political aspect of the battle to myopically focus on shouting "seccession" alone.

Nigeria may not break up regardless of agitation for that or even gross misrule from the current government in power. Break up of a nation is not a precise science especially when constitutional provisions prohibits that effort.

The South would be better off trying to perfect its political challenge and then use any Southern President, post 2023, to restructure our nation
