Signs of a failed country. University every nook and crany without standard facilities for quality education - churning out "substandard" graduates that cannot take hold of their future.
Few smart graduates don't have good jobs, what then is the essence of the universities?

Oh My Biafra, we await your rageful coming

Now the academic staff will need to upgrade by force and i bet they won't like that because it was not part of the condition of service they sign up for when they were engaged. We need more technical training institution than Universities in this country. A powerbank *can be a replacement for your laptop battery* or charger You may need one due to poor power supply in ur area and you will also find it useful on days when your device battery is low, or you are on the go and it is important to work on laptop or phone or maybe grid power is out and gen refuse to work. It is then you will find a powerbank very useful. Many have missed out on deadline, appointment, lost their way, miss target, dates because they don't have a powerbank around to save the day. Get yourself reliable powerbank today!

If these silly government like they should change the name of all secondary schools to University, it wouldn't change anything.
As long as these institutions are churning out half baked graduates, Nigeria will forever have no future.

Nigeria doesn't even understand how important Education, Philosophy, Engineering, Health and Farming are to humanity. All these yeye politics, celebrities, fighting cybercrime are very very unimportant as they don't add any value to living. How can entertainment industry be doing better than agriculture in Nigeria?? The so called "elites" in Nigeria must be moving mad.

I understand bad politicing has already eaten deep into our systems but it's now on the shoulders of the fortunate elites(the rich private people who are illegally enjoying our oil money through the back) in Nigeria to invest in these institutions I mentioned earlier even if all they want is profit but we need to see structural involvement. For example, the average Nigerian man buys fruits that are dusty and unhealthy because na poor man dey sell am. If a businessman goes into fruit business and packages them and makes them available cheap to local stores or kiosks, it sounds good to me.

Another angle is that even these elites don't want equity for the masses. They don't like their people. Dangote is building a refinery which is great but insteadd of building that, why not affordable schools or affordable healthcare if not that he's a selfish prick.

Both are important. Ask the north. Our level of education and exposure in the south is what makes us far superior. Education is not all about getting employed.
