The only reason why Africa is not badly affected by Covid is because the virus is basically a biological war between the East and the West. In 2003 China was first attacked with the Sars Cov 1 virus but the impact fizzled out and was not successful as expected.

In 2019 another attack was launched against China with coronavirus as part of the trade wars but this time China was ready and they reversed engineered the virus to severely affect people with Neanderthal genes, that is why the United states and Europe wevastatere devastated last year, so the Africans that were affected are basically collateral damage in an ongoing biological war between the east and the west.

What assumptions?

Covid was spread among the elite in Nigeria first...and it was the elite really that were the targets of the isolation protocols....meanwhile most Nigerians cannot afford regular air travel.

India meanwhile has a higher rate of air traffic between it and many covid active nations. Then India has a very large and dense populaiton. Plus Indians of all classes travel by air...far more than Nigerians. You do the math.

Indeed, we are undertesting. The thing is, from what we know, most people survive covid. It is the potential for the minrity that would fall serously ill rising in numbers that would overwhelm our health sector that brought about all the control cases. It's been said that populations that carry homo neanderthal genes are more likely to develop severe cases when infected with covid-19. Most sub-saharan Africans don't carry those genes.
