For me i think 6 months is ideal. Any girl that i can date for that long without being bored, deserves my ring. But till then, i follow the ways of Slawomir.

Max 2 yrs is okay for me.

You can b ready in a week, 1 month, 5yrs...etc.
One thing i know is if u like date person for 2yrs and beyound that dosnt mean he/she won't change after marriage and if you marry in a month time dat still dosnt mean they won't change after mariage.

One year is enough, but it also depends on the age of the couple and what kind of relationship they have. You have to be close people to each other.
