Experience and fact have repeatedly shown that making limiting retaliatory excuses for evil/heinous crime has done no person/country/organization any good. When people know that they do not hold the ace on how a victim of their offense can choose to react, they always sit up and embrace goodness and in the end everyone wins, and principle reigns supreme over expediency.

Excuses have not even been made here. We don't even know what wrong the wife committed. But is that enough to beat up a pregnant woman to that point? Any form of beating is unacceptable. There are other ways to settle issues especially between man and wife.

This will not sink until it happens to our close family members. Will we be asking what she did to deserve such beating so that we can weigh them to see if the beatings are justified.
