The security situation now is not the problem..

The after effect of this madness will be terribly felt in the East..

A lotta prisoners have been freed..and most of them now bear arms. The implication of this is that after their aims have been achieved, there will be 2000% increase in crime rate.. cos when there is no food to eat..and you know you have a gun as a criminal, what would you do? You can't be wrong with your guess if you are not extremely stupid!

The people of the East will in no distant time beg the government to increase security personnels presence in their region..that's if they don't end up blaming the government for the looming insecurity that will consume them out of hypocrisy

True, but do the people need to beg their own government to do the jobs they were voted in and being paid outrageous amounts to do?
Is everyone in the East now IPOB?

This whole happenings has shown me and everyone in the east that the security people...police and army are really complicit in the insecurity bedeviling us.
Explain to us how come immediately there are no more roadblocks and check points , there were a drastic reduction if not total stoppage of armed robbery, kidnap cases and car snatching within the south east zone.

Security agents, politicians and criminals are aligned to torment people.

But if you're not from the east I'm sorry you won't understand what we're passing through daily in the hands of those men.

It was ipob that helped massob get recognized because that is where ipob came from. If not for ipob, massob would not have been known.

Massob is too quite and u can only get this freedom by FORCE. That is why Uwazuruike is not a threat while KANU is a threat to Nigeria.

Force directed at killing Igbos just to spite your enemies??

What sort of force is that one bikonu??
Fool, just shut up for once and slip back into the cage you come out from. If you are Igbo and terrorize our people, then we will kill you when we get the opportunity because you don't deserve to live. How quickly you have forgotten the menace of SAS police and all the wanton killings of Igbo people in our land because of extraction of N20 and N100 bribe on the road from motorists. Most of those SAS/Mobile Police that operates in roads in Igboland are Igbo people. Travel on the road and meet police checkpoints and check the names on their badges to see Igbo names.
Try to talk to them Igbo to Igbo, and you will notice him refuse to speak the Igbo language to you because he wants you to pay ransom money by force as that is the only means of complimenting his meagre salary being paid to him by his jaaanjaweeeeed masters The army of Igbo extraction has assisted their jaaanjaweeeed masters in killing us as well. Those that came on the python dance massacre are made up of Igbo soldiers and others, so all of them are targets so far as this struggle is concerned. So shall saboteurs like you be targeted soon because you saboteurs are more dangerous and posses more threat to our collective existence than the enemies.

Security agents are demonic
Ipob men are also demonic
People will align with group who serve their interests. Besides, bandits and bokoharam, security agents kill citizens more than any armed or militia groups. Custodian deaths, killing of protesters, state sponsored assassination are just a few examples.
Present security architecture favours government. It oppress and oppress people easily, not to fight crime. Most crimes are local so organisation and control of security apparatus should be local.

All u know is insults. You always lack points of argument. How have u helped to curb the ill treatments meted out on your Igbo people by same Igbo officers?

You igbos are always sabotaging yourself. Hardly see any Fulani maltreating fellow Fulani. But u see Igbo officers maltreating fellow Igbo's. The worste thing is that the Igbo officers does not even harras Fulani persons oo.

Such officer is a sellout to the Fulani government and it is better to resign or die along with other officers. ESN is there to absolve them into the force if they resign.

I have read news that paints the security of south eastern part of Nigeria as hellish for the common man. Especially from a thread here on nairaland?

If you're present on the southeast (not typing from another location), can you share the situation on ground, is the common man happy with police and army withdrawal? Has crime increased?
Are people prevented from going about their normal business? How is road travel in the east now?
I don't know how tomorrow will be, but for now, all is well in my location, crimes has reduced drastically, it's as if the uniform men were the ones carrying out most of those crimes before.
Another good thing I observed is that there are no more roads blocks were they used to cause unecessary hold up and indiscriminately extortion from motorist.
If things continues the way they are now, then it's a welcomed development.

Cultists have overran Enugu metropolis with cult-related murders now the order of the day. This is a total sabotage of the efforts of the men of the special anticult squad of the Nigerian police that hitherto reduced the activities of cultists in the state to the barest.

Armed robbery and kidnapping have also increased in the state no thanks to the criminal elements parading themselves as members of ESN.

As a matter of fact, there's anarchy in the southeast as people now take the law into their hands while the law enforcement agents no longer respond to arrest law breakers when called upon by common men. Their services are now reserved for the politicians and moneybags.

What I wrote about security in Enugu at the moment is the truth and nothing but the truth. I have nothing to gain from misrepresenting facts in the matter of security of my own people. Within a space of one week I spent in the state, about six incidences of cult-related murders took place. Any honest person who leaves in Enugu can confirm this.

If yes, are all the Igbo police already killed by unknown gunmen except mnk's sister?

I am currently in the South East. To my amazement, it is very peaceful. I actually do not understand how the town is peaceful without police station. However from time to time we see Nigeria Army parade. Everyone moves freely and peacefully no problem at all. No armed robbery unlike what used to happen when the police were everywhere. I don't think the police is necessary. However we have local vigilante almost everywhere
