mike8804: Even with a Regional Govt, Boko Haram, ESN and IPOB would still be very Much active. Boko-haram wants Sharia, and they are not ready to compromise if they don't get Sharia. IPOB wants to have their own country. And for them, it's non-negotiable. |

" if any crisis lasted beyond normal ask the government",so how can you be a vested interest in insecurity and be looking for help from other sources, you have to be sincere and honest and withdraw from the conflict, then you can have solution. |

Don't mind the Nigeria army. They can end Boko Haram in one week. They are making money with it. Besides, it's a carefully planned genocide against the Christian soldiers. If you doubt me, petition the army to publish names of soldiers who have died fighting Boko Haram. They are 95% Christians. |

We just like to deceive ourselves and make unnecessary noise in this country. If the leaders are sincere and do away with tribalism /nepotism in handling the security challenges everything will be solved easily, but they rather go round in circles. The killer herds have not been stop because of tribalism connections. |

Regional Government of the old is the answer, all these agitations and killings will stop, there will be sense of belonging, there will be competition in all sector of each of the regional government, youths will be engaged, be productive and no longer be destructive, nigerians abroad will prefer to be home, you will hardly see people dying to go abroad risking their lives except on a visit 1 Like |

mike8804: Nobody is going back to the regional arrangement. Rather, the six geopolitical zones should be recognized as federating units to guarantee the rights if the minorities. All political realignment and reorganization should be on the basis of the current geopolitical zones. |

Juliusmalema: It is really difficult for Nigerian Military to be professionalized as long as one President comes, chooses one Junior officer as Chief of Army Staff, and retires all the experienced officers above such person chosen as Chief of Army Staff. In the USA, the defence hierarchy is usually untouched , secretary of defence is what changes mostly, and that is why experience and professionalism flows through the system in the Military |

South Korea won is 34 kobo so what ??, Libya Dinar is stronger than that including Japanese Yen but does that makes them less innovative and advanced than Naija. Exactly. No amount of foreign interference will make Buhari suddenly stop treating northern and Islamic elements with kids gloves and start treating them like the endsars protesters. The Intl community has seen his bias against certain constituency and are sending him the clear signal of their disapproval. |

Rocktation: Wow! I'm really surprised a moderator who should be informed by just being online moderating people's comments cannot also use same time to read about South Korea? You think any country in Sub-Saharan Africa can be compared to South Korea?! You people just type anyhow. So, because the Won has less value than the naira, South Korea is not worth it? OK, what about Japan where ¥1 = #4, is Japan "slightly" better than Nigeria? 3 Likes |

shegzhkn: I've always known that the average Nigerian doesn't understand elementary economics but for a moderator who is always online not to use the Internet to source for information, it's saddening and appalling. I can forgive that of the average bloke in Warri or Creek Town but a moderator on Nigeria's most visited forum to pride herself in such ignorance? Chai! 4 Likes 2 Shares |
