Let's not be too quick to judge this man, he has some reasoning in what he said, if he did in fact speak these words. But the truth is that the SW needs the North and the rest of Nigeria. This is why it is even better for the SW to stay in Nigeria, there is strength in diversity.

No, we’re not better together. Area boys are a byproduct of the failures of Nigeria as a country and its poverty level. No one wakes up and decides to be an area boy; you become an area boy due to neglect, poverty and survival. A country that keeps wasting resources in a region with less while far richer regions are being neglected, isn’t worth keeping together. We’re all different people and the feudal culture that has found its way to Yorubaland, with people like this daft monkey at the top of the food chain, is alien to Yoruba. Our region has become an IDP camp to all Nigerians and its overpopulated, despite how the FG keeps neglecting the region.

A look at the level of nepotism in Nigeria whereby the more intelligent/educated Yorubas have to play second fiddle to illiterate Fulanis is unacceptable.
