AK-47 is very easy to operate with low cost of maintenance. Ask Nigerian securities they'll choose AK-47 over all those weapons. You can use it to fire tired with no hitches!

It's not a specialised equipment. It does well against alot of environmental conditions so countries that wants to save on equipments use them as primary or major arms.

If you are dealing with scattered moving targets at mid to far range you will finish all your ammo hit nothing and lose your life. And really hard to aim at opponent standing next to you

Bullpops still rules

Weapons used for target can't be used on battlefield.
When last did those advanced nations fought a war?
AK-47 is much better in battle field than the weapon on that DSS hand but the one with DSS is commonly used for arrest or target operation!

Let's forget about the bullet proof first and talk about the modern assault rifle that security aide is holding...
If politicians can arm their security with such rifles, why do our police and other security forces still use outdated and old AK-47.
That's a IWI Tavor TAR-21 mainly used for close quarter combat, it has its limitations.
Ak47 is a more versatile weapon, easy to handle, use, dismantle, upgrade, mass produce and very effective deadly assault rifle with better range and accuracy.
The AK-47 is an extremely soldier friendly weapon, almost jam-proof.
I'll pick a good AK-47 over this.

The AK-47 is 100 times more reliable than that rifle the security aide is holding. AK-47 hardly jams and will fire under any circumstance and it also has a longer range with higher devastating effects than what that aide is holding.

AK-47 maybe old but apart from heavy machine guns, no modern rifle has been able to beat the AKs interms of reliability.

We are saying almost same thing.

If your targets are in congested zone ak is good bcs your Shell goes to all directions.

But what we usually have in urban areas are single moving targets not congested and usually unplanned were your target suddenly appear beside you to start actio. It's clearly not what the police should be using..

Our soldiers in war Front are always equipped with ak ruffle no matter the situation or have you not noticed. Head on war is different from mop up/clean up operations.

If you see videos of our soldiers fighting Boko behind blockade you will know what am saying.
If I have a unit engaging sporadically ak. The targets can be identified while some some will start the mop up even from far range you can never achieve that with ak.

It's unleashing a bull in the arena(chase everything it sees) then send tiger(picks target, take it down then go for another).

Sorry but the fight against banditry, insurgency and all forms of violence will not stop.

You don't attack security agents and infrastructures, and expect them to fold their arms.

So stop the pity-seeking lies about killings of defenceless igbo men and women. It won't work. When we were advocating caution and restraint, your likes saw us as fools. E don set!

Has d fight against banditry started? If civilians are attacked and kidnapped by bandits, have d security agencies/FG not folded their hands?

That's the tavor-21. It's the standard-issue rifle of DSS operatives in Nigeria. It's mostly good for close-quater combat whereas AK-47 is great for both close and distance combat, that's why you hardly see police with the rifle

But his Gorimapa head isn't save, target his head or his abdomen he go fall. Bounches orlf thieves. Why MUST he be going about with security when his hands is clean. You think you could protect yourself when you are exposing innocent citizens INTO danger. So he thinks his life is more important than of those poor masses! All na vow. He who killed by the sword Will also die by the same sword

That one isn't the kind of war we fight here. They always use air raid and finish it with ground forces. War is more difficult in Africa than any other place in the world. Advanced nations make war very easy!

What is this one saying?

So the fact that a crime is committed means that government is not doing anything?
