There must be compromise, please profess your own solution, who said it was free?, as long as they can prove their Nigerian citizenship like Abubakar Atiku they have as much rights as you & it is provided & guaranteed to them in the Lands Use Act 1978 Which is enshrined in your Constitution of 1999 As Amended. Most are ignorant to what cattle ranching is about, which land belongs to you? Bring the receipt your so called ancestors purchased it for?

Government has to provide infrastructure for institutionalized grazing, just like the States & Federal Government gives fertilizers to Farmers, provides seeds to plant, build access roads, motor parks, Airports, jetty’s, cattle rearers is part of We Nigerians that is why it is embedded on your 200 Naira note & the vast majority of Nigerians love the suya delicacy & can say categorically that there is no Nigerian that hasn’t eaten suya whether rich or poor.
stop making case for criminally when was the homeland of those migrants invaded and burnt down by indigenous nigerians .

At the recently held security meeting, everyone that sat on that table were 90% northerner Muslims to take decisions on south south & south east.

The question however is, how many Igbo leaders did Northern leaders consult before adopting sharia law in Northern states?

My sentiments exactly. There should be made to exist, a systematic unwritten policy which forbids any southerner from selling land to a fulani. These people are simply too toxic.

They are very very toxic because of they religion and values. Most of them go to Islamic schools. They are breed from child to have the spirit of conquer and dominate. Omo, I can't settle in a place dominated by west African Muslims, especially, fulanis.

They rate their fellow fulanis from other African countries than they rate any tribe in Nigeria. And they see Nigeria as a property. Many African countries dealt with them o. U give them space, they dominate u, forcefully convert u to their religion. Give them lands, after 30 years, they will claim the lands o.

Good people of the South please keep your eyes on the ultimate goal and be not deceived by clever rhetoric, Miyetti Allah and their fulani patrons are only interested in conquering the entire Nigeria, cattle herding and rearing is only a front by which they are trying to achieve their aims.

They are not interested in peace and they will never negotiate, always remember that.

too too late for that , the chicken has already come home to roost

when peter odili put arms into the hands of cultists and militants for election purposes, he created MEND and the ensuing chaos

when a certain northern governor sherif used extremists gangs for election purposes, he created Boko Haram and we are still struggling with them

when general mallam buhari threatened blood and baboons blood with thousans of his illiterate kinsmen. he created migrating fulanis. supporter of APC and bandits

Fulanis want to expend minimum energy and effort on their business shit and allow the rest of Nigeria carry their burdens. That the FG has given them all available appointments is not enough. What they want now is also access to people’s ancestral lands through the back door. They want to rape the south both physically and symbolically. Fulani that are not even indigenous to the so-called Nigeria. ESN will cure your malaria insha Allah.

He is not a nigerian, he is a fulani from a neighbouring francophone country.

deantimes:

Oga are you not in this country? Let's assume so. Are you telling me the herders have the financial capacity to pay for lands in all the lgas in the country? You're daft if you think so, if you're not, then what stops them from using their money to get lands and ranch? I understand govt should help them but must that be established in all lgas as Buhari requested? That's Fulanisation.

We know Igbos as travellers, they storm a place, hustle, buy lands and build mansions, why is govt not helping them? If you must know, they contribute the lion share to our treasury by paying taxes how many federal roads in their region have the attention of the FG or you think I don't travel there often?

See bro, threatening that I should provide my ancentral land for HERDSMEN or die, like the Presidency said, shows you have a hidden agenda.

There are other animals breeders like chicken, pigs, goats and the rest, why are they not also threatening fire and brimstone like the fulani herders? Or you want to tell me they don't need help also?

Those amenities you mentioned contribute to the national treasury, what has the herders contributed to this country if not terror?

My solution is if they must be ruga, there should do it in the North where we have vast lands and transport their beef to the south, probably in exchange for grasses to feed the animals.

Some Northern states have provided lands for ruga why is the govt not establishing it there? It's because they have a fulanisation agenda which will not work there but across the whole country, especially in our oil-rich states.

francophone fulani guy, listen to this:

1) All nigerian farmers are nigerian
2) A huge number of fulani herdsmen in nigeria are not nigerian.

3) Nigerian farmers pay taxes and use their own land to grow their crops.
4) fulani herdsmen do not pay taxes and do not use their own lands to feed their cows, they go into the land of the farmers and steal the products of the farmers hard work and in many cases kill the farmer and rape his daughters or wives.

5)Fertilizer subsidy is not done in nigeria alone, it is done in almost all countries on earth. It is not meant to make the farmers happy, it is meant to guaranty food security for the people of the country by reducing the price of fertilizer and therefor making it easy for anybody to operate a farm. This subsidy doesn't stop fulani herdsmen to take advantage of it and buy cheap fertilizer to operate their own farms.

6) It seems you are unaware of the fact that herdsmen are way less important for a nation than farmers. Every country needs farmers for food security, no country needs cows for food security.

Now stop minding things which do not concern you, talk about your francophone country and its fulani and leave nigeria alone ! We are not a fulani colony !

ESN are bastards also but in a lesser extent than fulani herdsmen invaders.
For all the rest I agree with you. I think the fulani were surprised with the fact southern nigeria put very little fight while their entire government was being taken over by just one tribe (fulany). The fulani expected more of a fight: we all know that children vote in the north, but are we fighting against that ? We all know that foreign haussas and fulani vote in the north, but are we fighting ? We all know buratai is a thief, but are we fighting ? We all heard buhari's 95% and 3% comment, but did we fight ?
We all saw buhari call on foreign investors to shun investing in the south and rather invest in the north, but did we fight ?
We all see all key positions in government beeing occupied by one tribe and one religion, but are we fighting ?

The lack of fight from the south just cheapened the fulani takeover in the eyes of the fulani, so they thought they should go for more: our lands, our daughters, our wives, our lives...this is a fulani jihad ! everybody needs to open his eyes, buhari has always been a fulani bigot trying to wipe out non fulani and take over their lands for foreign fulani. He made it clear before becoming president...

I remember warning the yari.ba in 2015 only for them to mock me and curse me and sing "sai buhari"...

Stop quoting that 1999 decree as constitution because it's not. It's a decree from the Fulani military. Nigeria needs a real constitution with contribution from the people.

If you are ignorant to the law that is your prerogative, you have oil you can’t refine it, you have cattle you can’t ranch them, failed democratic system of Government.

For your information, Nigeria is not practicing a federal system but a unitary system.

It is a shame when a non nigerian can beat you in the realms of how your own country (nigeria) works. You are a real disgrace.

You should be asking the francophone fulani guy to provide the "land use act" and show how that implies fulani from whereever can come to the south and take up lands for free. Ofcourse the guy is saying rubbish, the constitution doesn't stand for this in any way.

Besides, most of these fulani herdsmen coming south are not nigerian.

So please start using your brain instead of just talking rubbish and being duped and outsmarted by foreigners.

That fool is not a Nigerian, he is a francophone fulani. And ofcourse he knows very little about nigerian history, he is under the impression that at the begining of the world there was a Nigeria and a nigerian government which goes against the reality that nigeria was only created in 1914 by the British after they and the french had defeated the precolonial countries which made up west africa.

The francophone guy doesn't know that nigeria is a federation in which the people keep their ancestral lands in what we call states.
