Efcc need to up their game... As they can see no noise or harassment they diligently trail his online footprints and pick him up without causing nuisance.... Not the one that you will arrest 1st b4 finding evidence

Mr Rufai presents an extreme risk of flight and “if he does escape to Nigeria, extradition will be extraordinarily difficult or impossible because of his ties to the Nigerian government

This is a devastating blow on Nigeria government

We need to start campaigning seriously on good ethical business behavior and honesty. Seriously, we need this. Mehn! US govt knows its Ogun State governor who will shield him. No wonder they used the phrase: extraordinary difficult to extract him if he should escape to Nigeria. What a bad reputation?

To show their utmost contempt for our value system. angry

He needs to do the smart thing and negotiate a plea bargain with the prosecutor, with concurrent sentencing and restitution, he might be able to land a 10 year sentence. If you starts pretending to be smart and try out this case, they can easily hit him with a 200 year sentence.

I laugh when I hear Nigerians say it is the government policies and economic hardship that leads people to cybercrime.

The question is, what is a Governors aide doing with cyber crime?? He earns a very very good income. He travels for vacation whenever he wants to, he also wants to contest for office, he has connections, he has several routes to make money.

Yet he went into cyber crime.

Greed is the cause of Cyber crime not economic hardship. Go to the U.S and U.K, and see Nigerians who went through hell to get to the U.S/U.K, rathar than take a job, they are into cyber crime. They want to use ferrari.... ill gotten wealth that they cant account for. It is quite sad.

Greedy Mofos. Lock that niqqa up.

May God continue to bless you for this comment.

...... Tomorrow they will say the youths is the future of Nigeria...... Is this idiot not a youth..... Tomorrow they will say its because of lack of basic amenities that's why youths go into crime...... What basic amenities was this idiot lacking in USA..... Tomorrow they will say its because of lack of employment that's why people go into crime..... Which employment is this one looking for apart from being an aide to a senior government official? Age is not the problem of Nigerian leadership but the mind set of the people...... Poverty is never a justification for crime because even the rich steal also...... Until the mentality of an average Nigerian change to accommodate peace, honesty and hard work, this country will always be known for corruption, crime and disability all over the world....... How I wish they can just jail him for life there..... Nonsense

If that were to be a Nigerian prosecutor (especially EFCC's lawyer), the only argument will be that the suspect had a laptop or smartphone. grin grin grin

We just need to change our values as a people. While changing our values, we will be changing what we value. Many of our youths don't understand the meaning of fulfilled life. Also, the Govt should fix the poverty issue.
