Continue with your "should be" while your fulani people that have never known nor built a civilisation destroys what is left of the people of the contraption they call nigeria with your taqiya way of life. As for we Biafrans, we don't celebrate mediocre. Reason why we MUST leave your nigeria to build a civilization that the whole world will marvel at.
One, I'm not Fulani, but not like it matters to you.

All I see in this your reply is bitterness and ego.

We have a saying "A good Friday is evident from Thursday"(rough translation)
Since you don't celebrate mediocrity, we should be seeing your cities, and civilization surpass the Lagos you are laughing at, even with the limitations of this country. Why wait to break away first to show the world what you are capable of?

The fact that other parts of Lagos state don't look like Florida doesn't mean the part that we are showing doesn't.

The topic says Nigeria's answer to Florida, not Lagos state is like Florida.

Learn how to read and comprehend.

Many places in Lagos especially the ones in the pictures in this thread look better than some places in Florida, let me know if you need pictures for confirmation.

The Op's post and narrative is flawed because he mentioned Lagos. If he had mentioned Lagos Island, there'd be no issue. But since he's talking about the whole of Lagos but only showed one part of Lagos and then went ahead to ask if it's Nigeria's answer to a Miami or Florida, then it makes no sense. Would his topic still fit if he actually posts major parts of Lagos? Those pictures are nice but it hardly reflects on what most parts of Lagos actually looks like.
So next time read to understand instead of rushing to reply.
These pictures below are scenes you'll see 30 minutes after leaving the Island.

Of all cuties in the world, you are mentioning miami in the same sentence with Lagos?
Have you ever been to south africa?
Have you ever been to Tanzania?
One of the things I've noticed about most NIGERIANS are over bloated ego fueled by lack of exposure.
Nigeria has not just the problem of corruption, most of her people need mental enlightenment.
How on earth will anyone say Lagos is fast becoming miami?
It's either you are a complete villager or you are just a complete illiterate.

Let it continue to PAIN you... grin grin grin

South Africa? Built by white folks (particularly places like Cape Town, which is overwhelming white)...
Tanzania? Dar-es-Salam looks like Ikorodu, with a few new hotels and tall buildings in last few years.

Point to anywhere close to those views your ANCESTORS or FATHERS bequeathed to any State in IGBOLAND! None I am sure. That swampy smelly disgusting zone where only beasts come out from there.

Only WILD ANIMALS hate localities that allowed them settled in. Igbos are southern Fulanis. Show them kindness, they'll still hate you. They come Lagos from their HAMLETS, still rant BS on NL. Even show their love for the city on Nollywood. Sickening. Drugsters. Economic urchins. Southern Fulanis. 100% same similarities with Fulanis. They choke other capital cities in Nigeria too. People with no historical origin. Just in 2003, claiming to be from Israel! Ask Ethiopians who did so! Jews subjugated them. Babaric, ungrateful nomadic people.
You yorubas are backwards to an extent it beggars belief. Your reasoning alone is akin to those of early men. Neantherdals to say the least. You allowed who to settle where? Is Lagos or nigeria yours? Look at his false sense of entitlement. "Allow to Settle" You must stop that ish you are smoking. You want "one nigeria"? Then you have no right of claim to either Lagos or Abuja, after all, we own over 70 percent of C of O's in both cities. You can claim Ibadan, Oshogbo, Akure, who cares. Those are your civilized cities. grin grin You do not own Lagos, so stop laying claim to Lagos that you didn't build.
Lagos, a land that was built with money from the oil from Biafraland and recent development being built mostly by Igbo and you have the audacity to utter the words "allowed to settle" You must be a fool. The place you call hamlets in Igboland are far better developed than any city you yorubas can boast of except Lagos which was built with Biafra's oil money and Igbo investments of today. You haven't even started to cry. Your only saviour will be if Biafra is restored, then you can lay claim to any part of Lagos or Abuja that Igbo properties are not sitting on. Ungrateful elements. We developed Lagos and Abuja and instead of being grateful, all you can come upo with is hatred and jealosy. Thunder fire you there. Fool!!

Your name is Aliyu and that qualifies you to be fulani or fulani sympathizer. Maybe you don't know that your so-called Lagos was built with Biafra's oil money and in the same Lagos, we Igbos own over 70% of the properties. FACT!! So who actually built Lagos? Our oil money and our toil money. The reason why Lagos belongs to us until further notice, meaning until after Biafra is restored. grin grin grin grin grin grin

Is Lagos Island not Lagos?

In fact, I posted some beautiful pictures from Lagos Mainland so it's flawed and disingenuous of you to conclude that the pictures in this thread are only from Lagos Island.

While at it, you should have concluded that the OP should have said VI or Ikoyi instead of Lagos Island where most of the pictures came from since you are into semantics.

Sorry to say, you are not making sense.

This is Lagos Mainland, not Lagos Island.

You can post all the dirty pictures you want from Lagos, but it doesn't negate the beautiful pictures and places the OP posted so the joke is still on you.

E be like say you no get brain. Tell me where in the world is perfect? I have also lived, travelled far and wide. I will send pictures of any developed countries in the world with undrained drainages, poor roads and waste management.

I’m not saying we cannot improve but it takes a while in a country so constitutionally wired and concocted with the use of quota system to reduce the speed of development in the SW.

Why? Those places you mentioned are not the only places in Lagos. They've been overused by some of you bad belle people as if there are no other places in the state. Even Miami has ghettos and places that look like ajegunle (there's a part of Miami called 'Little Haiti', looks like Mushin and Oshodi). Every country has its ghettos, but they don't project those areas or use them to brand themselves. They always 'put their best foot forward'. You guys just have a habit of spoiling Lagos for reasons best known to you.
Why won't they, when they are all Oloibu...

3 out of the dirtiest and the most polluted places on the surface of the earth are igbo towns here in Nigeria.

It's a sad shame and stain on the rest of the country to be associated with that dubious record from the SE.

....even though this joker posted a bridge picture to rubbish Lagos, now singing a different song after correcting him with the picture of the best bridge in Nigeria.

Yes, we are glad that this bridge in beautiful Lagos is so wonderful that movie directors must show the bridge for aesthetics and credicility.

To God be the glory.

There are better and good looking places in Lagos than some places in Miami, no place on the surface of the earth is 100% beautiful, this is common sense and the last time I checked, the topic did not say the whole of Lagos is beautiful, maybe it's ignorance and lack of reading and comprehension skills on your part, don't blame the OP, blame yourself for your inability to properly read and comprehend.
