Yes, the first time was when I traveled to Akure for my jamb exam which was the first time traveling outside Lagos, After my exam and I wanted a straight bus from Akure to Lagos which the driver charged me extra because I was a novice but eventually an older guy saw when I paid him and told me that isn't the amount I was supposed to pay which I told the driver and he told me to get down from the bus but to my surprise, the whole passengers got down and defended me and eventually he collected the normal price for transportation.

My second experience is I was having difficulty changing the movie I was watching I was on the plane, A lady left her seat to attend when I was searching for a movie to watch and recommended the best movie to watch.

There are many more that I can't even remember, there are really nice and helpful people everywhere.

Sometimes when I dont want to travel by train from Abuja to Kaduna I just go to mabushi and hop into the next available vehicle.On this particular day the driver of the vehicle i joined bought bottle water for every passenger he carried including himself.Since I was the only female in the vehicle and youngest he gave me the money to buy the water and share for everybody.I could not believe my eyes .In my how many years of waka waka on the road it has never happened and I know it might never happen again.

I have pictures but my phone had a problem after quarantine, I am just too lazy to filter the pictures from google pics from my laptop and new phone.
I want to finish the thread once and for all but I don't enough time, but I promise to finish it when I get the time.

I was on my way to uni. First year and alone. I got to the entrance of the train station and I wanted to cry. I was hauling three big suitcases, it is one of the biggest train stations, and all I saw was staircases and I had a train to catch in less than 10 mins.

Two young guys with full body tats around mid 20s, appeared from nowhere and grabbed the biggest two, helped right to the platform for my ttrain.

It is one of the reasons I travel light and smart now.

I and the fellow conversed for most of the journey about the demerits of having to share our bus with animals. You see, the driver had given the back seat to three rams and their owner, and it was the owner I was having the delightful conversation with.

I took selfies with the rams and exchanged numbers with their owner. Till date I don't know how that number got missing from my phone but he was such a lively, nice young man who made me laugh throughout what would have otherwise been a tedious journey.

Not really a fan of meeting people while traveling...love to be on my own the whole trip...

But once met a Korean-Us guy on flight...he was working on a code and I discover hez program wasn't running...

I had to introduce myself as an IT specialist...we worked together on the code for several hours and we actually find a way to solve the issue...

Apart from that dude...I just keep to myself till I land in my destination.

I dey mind my business while traveling o, unless something somehow someway connects us.

The people I met were kinda different... one man and his wife they are really nice throughout the journey... we were three Passengers in the car travelling to Benin with me included.. The man and his wife were really nice they gave the driver money to pay the police that stopped us on the way for checkups.. they buy anything those traffic hawkers sell.. they even gave me and the driver some.. what surprises me is that the man bought one acholic drink from his bag, he and his wife drank it and both of them became high throughout the journey, they were just so loud that anytime there was an hold up people from their cars peep through their window to check what's up... it was damn funny..
I aligned at my destination.. I keep wondering how the driver will get them to their destination since the couples were drunk... very incredible experience I must admit...

Yeah, I did meet someone while traveling and that was during my NYSC service year. Happened while serving in the North though from different states, we bonded so much we had to bond more when we alighted.
