There Was A Time When 100% Igbos Loved The Nigerian Army - What Happened ? by GodHatesBigots(m): 8:40pm On May 29, 2021
Igbos cried and wept when Boko Haram decimated our soldiers, they were enraged when they saw our soldiers fleeing from Boko Haram terrorists, not because they lacked courage but because they were poorly armed, and they had informants in their midst. I for one use to get so mad that I waited for the next Nigerian Army victory to celebrate their heroism as did many Igbos. We supported the Nigerian Army all the way.

In our towns they ate and drank with us, made friends, and provided security at events. Indeed, Igbos were at the fore front of clamouring for better pay, better conditions, better security, and equipment on behalf of our soldiers so that they could fight with dignity and bravery.

But now 90% of IGBOS HATE THE Nigerian Army and whereas they previously cried when they were killed now, they rejoice.

Nigerian Army, ask yourself why.

My last post for the day.

Good night.

Lol... The reverse of Midas touch...

The man at the helm of affairs has the reverse of Midas touch. Anything they touch turn to muck. A once vibrant and capable army can turn into sth else overnight due to that very
abnormal and strange trait.

Take a look at our economy.. that shouldtell u more..

Look at the security situation of the country,..every nook and cranny are forming armed groups to defend themselves from marauding govt pampered terror herders

The igbos are not to be blamed for that. I fault the nigerian army for using excessive force on igbos for the slightest mistake. But same soldiers will flee from some terrorists/will take little or no action when these brainless youths from the north kidnap, kill and destroy.

Lies.

The Igbos never loved the Nigerian Army. Infact, their inability to dominate the country from 60's is the reason why a day cannot pass without a show of interiority.

The Nigerian army is not made of robots or aliens. She's made up of the different tribes that constitute Nigeria and as such should relate with all the people of Nigeria with dignity and respect. This however is not the case as fulanis hijacked her and turned her into a subjugation weapon. What I still find perplexing in how the other tribes inside the army appear so dumb not to speak out about the anomaly. Why are they silent as fulanis decimate farmers and raze down villages but the same soldiers from other ethnicities are drafted to arrest the villagers. Almost all middle belt tribes have been attacked one way or the other but their people in the army are sent to do the fulani bidding in other areas. I wonder how that happens.
Whatever the case, the current army can be rightly classified as a terrorist one because they're always absent when villagers are under attack by fulanis but always come out to subdue any resistance against that same fulani militias.

The end sars genocide is what made people to hate the Nigerian army... How can you as a soldier murder unarmed civilians of your own country holding the country's flag.. How do explain that u murdered people that wants a betterment of the country.. How can u describe the blood of your fellow citizens who u killed in defence of corrupt politicians and government officials?.. The Nigerian army lost all the respect. Regard and fear people had for them... Now people see them as terrorist who deserved to die.. People rejoice at their demise. People no longer fear them nor respect them.
For their redemption.. Its time they do what is necessary and stand by the citizens of this country. To remove this government that imposed hardships and deaths on its citizens.. Should they continue to toe in with this government without toppling it or standing by the citizens to force the government to do what is right!.. Their deaths will be celebrated every day like the end of Ramadan feast.

The python dance caused the acrimony for security agents in the East. The government of the day won't listen to sensible igbo's and has grouped all igbo as ipob

It's not our fault if your new party could not use the Army for national interest. If the Army keeps killing the people with the orders of your government, then what do you expect us to do?
