Most indigenous Northerners cannot afford the price of those buildings. There is a reason all indigenous land owners want to sell land to the Igbo man, we pay most for them than any other ethnicities.
Those Igbos with property in the North would be lucky to get 1/10th of it's value if they want to sell it to indigenes.
One way or the other, they will lose and deservedly so since they have refused to learn from past events and history.
One thing is sure, Ndiigbo will not be held back in Nigeria for the sake of myopic ones that invested massively in non Igbo parts of NIGERIA with little commissurate investment in Igboland.
