The Igbos have a a close alliance and friendship with the Akwa Ibom people.

I strongly suggest that the Igbos move their offices from Lagos to Uyo and work with the government and private sector on the Ibom Deep Sea Port, for easy access to the Ocean.

The view of Buhari about the Igbos is common amongst Yorubas too. So, know your enemies and form alliance with your close neighbours that love you historically.
