You people will just come online and be typing rubbish. Most of you have never even crossed the border to Benin Republic before....

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE SALARY OF MIDDLE CLASS CITIZENS IN MOST WESTERN COUNTRIES?

You shouldn't have quoted me with this your ridiculous mindset, please i don't make blind argument.

You must be a thief coming to America with the mindset that you can earn $10,000 as monthly salary.

EzeNdigboONE:

Average salary is many Western countries is 100k annually+tax, SO WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

My brother, please that's not correct.

Are you seriously comparing a 300k job here with $10,000 job over there? I don't really have time now to school you on this.
That's exactly what it is.

In Nigeria, the only people that can earn 300k per month are very senior staff on levels 13 and above (management staff)

In USA, a staff on equivalent level can earn between 8-12k per month.

The price for these goods has skyrocketed x3 from the time you made this post to now.

10,000 dollars is not minimum wage ogringringrin.
For you to be earning 10k a month, has to be maybe you're in tech or banking or you run a good business or escort service or real estate or onlyfans or something like that.

With $10k a month, you can buy a house there in less than two years. With 300k here, where you'll build and what you would build has to be taken into consideration. Being that inflation is crazy now.

Lol they think money is just flowing to everyone like kanji dam in the abroad grin grin

EzeNdigboONE:
How is this an issue?

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM WAGE THERE ?

Someone that earns 10,000 dollars in a month there, which is approximately 7m is the same class as someone who earn 300k here.

To earn up to 300k in Nigeria on the average for civil servants, YOU MUST BE ON LEVEL 13 (MANAGEMENT STAFF) AND ABOVE.

IN USA, SOMEONE IN EQUIVALENT LEVEL CAN EARN BETWEEN 8-12K PER MONTH.

Nigerian is blessed with cursed leaders.
going by dis analogy, the naira is supposed to be stronger than the dollar.

It seem unbelievable but things in California are usually more expensive and if it's in Los Angeles, it's super expensive. Last year summer, when gas price was just around $2 plus per gallon where I live, it was over over $4 per gallon in LA when we visited. I filled the gas tank of an SUV we rented for over $70. But those prices up there seem outrageous especially because those products are not for average Americans but immigrant Africans or people from the Caribbean. I've never seen Peak before here. Its only Carnation milk we buy often around $1.

When I lived there,I saw hell grin

Why I like LA is that it doesn't get humid & muggy ....If you've ever lived in a muggy city, you'll know how much of a perk this is wink

Do u stay in America?
xandy84:
Very few people earn $10k monthly in America. I mean less than 10 per cent of the population and those who earn such has heavy student loans to repay.

How old are you? You should know by now nobody share contact except they are engaging in meaningful conversation and they want to take it private. I will not be replying your next mention cos we are on different wavelength. Why are you asking everyone if they live in US? Have a good one

Hello, Good day everyone,
I was just driving through DOWNTOWN Los Angeles today, June 11th, in company of my adorably stubborn Wife grin grin grin & I saw this in one of the shops ran by Mexicans there.
Please can someone in Nigeria who's highly knowledgeable with these things verify 4me, the prices of ALOMO BITTERS, ORIJIN BITTERS & Basin of Garri & that of a Large peak milk.

Large peak milk is sold for $39
ALOMO $25.
ORIJIN bitters $25
Medium Sachet of Garri $10

Neva knew Alomo could sell 4diz prices in LA. I might have 2 expand my business frontiers.
Although I heard a lot of stuffs are expensive in Naija now, but I still need someone to put up the Naija prices of these items.
Thanks.
