You think it's only igbos that own properties outside igbos region, you will be amazed to kwn that there are many non- igbos that has properties in Igbo land.
Besides, Nigerians has properties outside Nigeria, better work for your own property than putting eyes in others people's properties.
Attribute of a very lazy Nigerian.

Nothing, there are many houses owned by foreigners in Nigeria. The street I used to live in Apapa, Lagos, all the houses on that street were owned by Lebanese men.

If Igbos get there own country, international and domestic laws will come into effect, and they will be protected.

Infact, owning a house or property in a foreign country is a good thing because it almost assures you of residency rights in that country

Like it happened in Eritrea and Ethiopia plus Azerbaijan and Armenia abi. You people should stop deluding yourselves. First the ibos and yorubas for that matter are going nowhere. Bihari was right when mentioned dot in a circle .Secondly if by some infinitesimal chance they separate the southern and northern countries will have to deport non indigenes for economic reasons because they have to provide jobs for their citizens first and the sheer numbers of ibos outside biafra is massive.

They will have to put them up for sale at very cheap price for indigenes that can afford else ownership will automatically transfer to the government of that nation from which they were evicted if they fail to dispose them off. As my people would say.. won ma lu ni gbanjo ta ni grin

Which property jero get sef? na rent dem rent house come jampack the whole place with their relations from village.

The reason Pa Awolowo returned their properties was to reunite and lessen their burden and losses from the war. Alas the people of Niger Delta especially Port Harcourt no send them o, they meted the right punishment by seizing and converting all the properties they left behind. shi shi dem no see till date.

No other tribe in Nigeria is foolish enough to buy property in Igbo land, only Biafran people are foolish enough to buy properties all over Nigeria, they even own properties in their enemy's territory (North) even though they lost all their properties in the North and
other parts of Nigeria during the civil war.
Biafran people no get sense at all.
Hahahahah

Do you sound intelligent?

I should get a property and not think about the future?

It's akin to asking a job seeker to take up a job without bothering about job security even when he still had the chances.

At times, you people comment as though you are wet behind the ears.

This is a difficult and bitter answer, but I have to say it.

According to the laws of Nigeria, non citizens cannot own property in Nigeria.

It's either the property owner, rejects Biafra and pledge loyalty to Nigeria or they lose everything. Not just real property but businesses, enterprises etc.

It will be economic suicide on their part.

Sir, go and check well. Those houses either were bought with the Identity of Nigerians fronting for them
Or they have lived here long enough to get citizenship

Kindly name the international instrument that allows an alien own land in another sovereign state?

Why are you concerning urself with that? Is that the priority? Make them give us biafra, see as we go rush abandon am for una...or sell at a giveaway price. We have done it before nd we survived...we can do it again, and still be kicking, even better than b4.

Yeah after all u narrated about their properties being seized bla bla bla with all d happiness in ur heart, igbos are still prospering. Igbos can loose their properties a hundred times and still rise up again a hundred and one times. Success is in the blood its not by owo mi.
Are u not ashamed dat d war never affected ur region and yet u breed d most useless set of youths. Every street reeks of alcohol, weed, urine and feaces. Agberos become d order of d day.
At least u have something to focus on and stop consoling ur miserable self. An uneducated igbo man enters ur land with a small tattered bag, sleeps under bridge, find opportunities in ur land, take advantage of it, becomes successful, buy lands, buy buildings and ur youths are not ashamed to live in their parents life all their lives.

LMAO I laugh at people like u ... If you make igbos uncomfortable that they all rush to put their houses for sale then I pity the local economy really

The housing sector would crash completely...at least for 3 to 5 years ....the value of most houses would drop by at least 40% , banks would have issues recoverying loan and the local economy would enter recession ...banks would struggle , real estate would struggle

Panic withdrawal would happen your banking sector may collapse even

It would be economic sucide to want to take over igbo properties out of wickedness it would back fire so bad u would beg igbos to come back
