Many Christians who don't read their bibles do not know that there are some notable men of God in the Bible who had concubines(modern parlance for Sidechicks or Mistresses).

If you studied the Old Covenant Law, you would have found that provisions where made for the having of "slave wives", also known as concubines.

1. The Law made provisions for the wellbeing of slave wives sometimes referred to as concubines in text

Concubines in Bible parlance are not the equivalence of sidechicks in modern times. Side chicks is the equivalent of adultery.
